The thing is,i tried to learn french like 20 years ago but she was a student by herself from Germany and not a native speaker so i was kind of lost and forgot almost everything when i travelled to Paris after that year.And they were really there in Paris about people that could not speak french, but it is indeed very difficult to learn.But if you have something you like,in this case for me,his french album,it is way more fun to try to learn it even if it is still not easy thats why i would enjoy it if he would bring the new french songs back for not french speaking gigs.dont know how to put this on a sign. How to express that? I am so with you on that. As I just said in another thread, I am not too happy about the setlist changes in Amsterdam (and then presumably in Berlin too). Would love to hear songs from QTTFT. Is it possible that he'll actually "take requests" from our signs and spontaneously sing more French songs if they were not sound-checked in this specific venue? You are absolutely right, we'd have to keep it friendly and not harsh. I love "Bonjour à Berlin". Maybe also simple, positive things like "We love your French songs", "Please sing in French for us", etc. The JB fan action sounds good too. I dont know how spontaneously they can be for example with changing the backgroundvisuals.I mean there is no changing except the visuals or do i miss something? The Berlin Venue is not that big.The cage and the piano will fit in plus the rainbow (wich yesterday made a stop half way down from the piano )but even the car was not there yesterday allthough the Afas is 2x bigger. So good for learning/reading the french lyrics while listening to the songs. So then an idea came to my mind: The fans that queue early (i will probably queue some hours earlier than in Amsterdam) (and want to hear the new french songs at the gig) and do not need their cellphones for the way back (charged ) ( In case it gets empty fast like mine but idc) and are not familiar with french like me , could do a little singing flashmob with this videos when they know the team, band, mika is already in the venue to hear it. I think it might be a bit too hard to pronounce the whole lyrics for anyone who doesn't speak French and hasn't specifically learned them... we could try... but I'd specifically love to repeat the La la la part from Jane Birkin whenever possible/appropriate & get the whole venue to sing it! It's so catchy and easy to sing, and I love the story he told about it in France. I'd see it already as a win if he did at least that French song from his new album. And if the crowd loves it, maybe he'll do some more? Btw, the "Je t'aime" song by Jane Birkin that is played before the song was a hit in Germany too. Anyway, I guess the Brussels setlist tonight will show us if he changed the setlist because he's worried the non-French-speaking audiences might not like the French songs, or just because he felt like changing it. He never was worried about speaking or singing in French in Brussels, so if they don't get any more French songs than Amsterdam, that probably means HE prefers to sing in English now (for whatever reason). Put all the balloons in zip bags now and wrote on the bags "for Happy Ending. Please take 1 and pass on the bag" in German & English. I've planned it more LED balloons for the seated area than for the standing... they don't really make sense for the first few rows (at least not in the center area), it's too bright there. As for the welcome back signs, it's not really a fanaction, or just a really small one - only something for the first few rows and the others closer to the stage, in the back he probably won't be able to read it... so I've put the details / PDF for printing in the Berlin thread: 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was thinking it would be super nice to show some love for Mika's amazing band with posters saying for example Max Taylor Fan Club, Wouter's no.1 fan etc. (Someone might have a better idea of how to express this?)
