I believe mgpm is hoping to get there about the same time. And Lissy said she's shooting for that timeframe as well. What about everyone else? Would you all like to try to rendezvous so we can stand together during the show? dcdeb <70ish hours (I need a better countdown clock!) to MIKA in DC!!!> We're leaving really early to beat traffic and to be sure to get there before five, so we should be at around the same spot if we plan our time correctly. My neighbor who I'm dragging along has me worried about the location of the club -- says it's not such a great area, so we won't be doing any walking around looking for a place to eat, shop, etc. I'll probably bring snacks with me to have while we wait. Not sure what if anything there is to eat in the club, but TBH, I'll probably be too excited to really eat. So I imagine we'll basically be picnicking on the steps of the 9:30 Club. Mika, Luke, Mikey, Martin and Cherisse -- you're all welcome to join us if you'd like to have a bite to eat before the show I'll have a big MFC sign -- the familiar brown, white and yellow logo you see up at the top of this page ^^^ We will also have the blinking hearts (may have a few extra if anyone's interested) so I think we'll be fairly easy to spot. In any case, that's what we're thinking... if anyone wants to join us, we hope you will. Or if anyone has any better ideas... maybe if you've been to the 9:30 Club before... please, feel free to share! Well, Marianne... on the oldlings thread, any time we mention the S word (as in S-E-X) we've had to to subsitute the word Chicken. And since Mika is, as some would say, the CHICKEN... you can imagine our delight and surprise when we saw him start to wear the chicken suit during the Lollipop finale! Hence... But if not, we or at least I plan on waiting afterward...
