I took some pictures from my balcony last year because they were making an advert for Mars chocolate bars on my street. They tried to make it look like a New York City street so they brought in a US post box, a USA Today box and some yellow cabs. A lot of movies that are set in NYC are actually made in Toronto. Yes because of the exchange rate and Toronto is just generally cheaper than NYC. Hotel rooms, food, permits, etc. When Arnold Schwarzenegger was campaigning for California governor he promised to bring back the business to Hollywood but I haven't noticed any change since he's been in office. The industry seems to be thriving more than ever in Toronto and Vancouver has a lot of business as well since they're much closer to LA and often used as a substitute for the US Pacific Northwest. Hi, I live in the mountains so there's a lot of greenery here but Beirut is very built up.
