And I start to fear that soon it will be impossible for this album to meet the expectations I have I have had the opposite reaction. There is so little evidence of this album's existence I have zero expectations. I'll believe it when I hear it I don't believe you Oh well, at least there will be a surprise With TBWKTM almost all the songs were performed live, were 5 years old demos or from "Songs For Sorrow". I can't tell which way of the album making I like more, since I became a Mika fan after TBWKTM was released, but I believe waiting for TBWKTM was a bit easier than TOOL, no? All this "teasing" goes in one ear and out the other for me because it tells me nothing about what it actually sounds like. Even the talk about collaborations isn't much of a clue because we never know if he is collaborating for a Madonna song or his own album track or what. but I believe waiting for TBWKTM was a bit easier than TOOL, no? No for the reason I mentioned above. He was giving us an indication of what TBWKTM would be like so we couldn't wait to hear the finished product. He's really said nothing of any substance about this album and he hasn't shared one note of it so it doesn't exist for me any more today than it did 2 years ago. It's a bit disappointing that we're 5 months into the year already and nothing has changed and nothing is happening as far as the album is concerned. And I also don't want the songs to slowly leak out during live performances in the summer. I just want to hear the album in its entirety first. Well as you said earlier - this album is Gertrude to you. I've never been a fan of live performances of songs I haven't heard the studio version of first. I need to hear the studio version first because I consider it the "official" one. Live versions are always a bit different to me and it's easier for me to listen to them if I've heard the recorded one first. That's why I haven't listened to BIOTW a lot. There are plenty of reasons to never listen to this song and I hope there won't be an "official" version unless it's a bonus track on the Swahili limited edition. I kinda don't hate that song after listening live in Seoul,but still don't like it.. the melody, lyrics both are not fresh, even outdated and old-fashioned... Actually I had kinda doubt about 3rd album after listening BIOTW first time, and feared I would never like the 3rd album if it's all like BIOTW..
