I added the translation of his words before the song under the video. Salut Jo, c'est Mika. Je suis vraiment heureux de faire partie de ce projet. J'ai grandi avec ces chansons. Comme nous tous je crois. J'ai toujours ce souvenir vivace d'attraper la cassette du fantôme de l'opera. Mes parents avaient acheté la cassette et j'avais un walkman et je l'écoutais tout le temps. C'était incroyable tu vois. Parce que j'avais deux trucs en cassette: c'était le fantôme de l' opéra et un best of de Queen et je passais de l'un à l'autre et ils s'harmonisaient parfaitement ensemble. Il ne faut pas oublier que j'étais vraiment jeune et donc c'était une musique vraiment impressionnante, avec des mélodies de folie. Des mélodies partout comme si elles tombaient du plafond. Et ce qui est étrange avec ces mélodies c'est qu'on a l'impression qu'elles ont toujours existé et il faut en quelque sorte les redécouvrir en les chantant. Et j'ai écouté énormément de versions differentes et c'est tout simplement étonnant de réaliser combien de personnes ont chanté ces chansons mais absolument à chaque fois ce qui ressort c'est la mélodie. Donc je chante "the music of the night"(la musique de la nuit) tirée du fantôme de l' opera et ouais c'est fait d'une façon différente car il y déjà Michael Crawford et il fait Michael Crawford très très bien. Et donc il fallait que je trouve une autre version de la nuit. Donc avec Leo Green il a situé la nuit littéralement pendant la nuit en essayant de faire semblant qu'il était trois heures du matin. Je pense que la vérité c'est que Leo Green qui assure toute la coordination de ce projet en ce qui concerne la musique a été tellement occupé à créer tellement de versions différentes que ce n'était pas qu'il avait pour concept de situer ma version à trois heures du matin, mais je pense qu'il a littéralement fait les arrangements musicaux à trois heures du matin. Donc j'espère que tu vas l'aimer Jo, voici ma version de music of the night tirée du fantôme de l'opéra. ... Après la chanson Jo dit: Waoh Leo Green pour le sax et Mika pour l'interpretation et l'émotion, une communion universelle.
