Writing a report!!!! ::::DDD I love going to shows all the time and as far as the personal concert experience goes, this was the best of my life. smuchshypush
My first Mika show! SO AMAZING! I took a bunch of video which I'm in the process of uploading (though YouTube keeps giving me error messages now ) but luckily I got the video of him changing pants on stage uploaded already. I focus on the important things in life, me Excusing himself to change pants: Putting the new ones on onstage: Will hopefully have the rest of the vids uploaded tonight/tomorrow if YouTube stops sucking. havingablast
I wanna know how he gets those big bloopy knickers into those tight jeans... Alright, heading off... since my teacher decided to un-cancel class... i'll probably be up early to check on progress. AKateisaKate
My friend Bijou and I met up at 6:30 to walk over and they let us right in even though doors weren't supposed to open until 7:15. So we chilled and bought merch (I got a white tee and an autographed lithograph poster. There are 2000 of them, and I got #44/2000!) My seat was front row and center DD101, it was so close to the stage I felt like my personal bubble was invaded hahahaah I wouldn't have it any other way though. I made this teddy bear necklace last summer when I was cleaning out my closet, and I gave it to Mika after the show. I hope he likes it! The warm up was realyl awesome and I usually don't go for those. I didn't catch his name, but he sings the song, "See I am wonderful" Someone will have to google. Pictures to come. Mika's performance skills were at his PEAK tonight. He was smooth, really into it, everything had a place, the acting in between songs, and you could tell he really loved performing the new songs. It's still in those early stages where it's exciting for him to get them out, you know? And I feel slightly bad for reporting this but he was panicking through Big Girl cause his fly broke. That happened at Terminal 5 too. Perhaps I'm a curse. But I should say he still went on and danced despite the fact that his pants were really falling down, the singer (I forget her name!) handed him a random belt, and he was trying to cover his fly with the ends of his jacket, elbow, and everything else he could hahaah. No Good Gone Girl? I loved seeing both albums together, it was so so so great. I was literally at his toes leaning on the stage and at points he'd lean over the audience and I had to bend backwards to not be fallen on. Such great energy. And I really got the best experience you possibly could out of a concert. So we waited outside, it was cold and rainy but I think the wait wasn't more than 45 minutes. He was very nice and said after the bodyguards kept saying NO PICTURES! OK PICTURES BUT NO FLASH! Mika was all, "Pssshh they can use their flash!" So he signed my EP (I had to leave early for Le Poisson Rouge so yay!) and I gave him the necklace. Which broke 40 times while I was dancing but hey. Oh and Cherrise piggybacked on Martin and high fived us all. I wish I got a picture of that!! So I sat next to tiibet and her husband at the show. I love MFCers! They had a bus to NYC at 1 AM, so they hung out at my dorm for a little bit to warm up after the show. So high on life and concert haze right now! Pictures to follow, but they didnt come out good, maybe it was the lighting. A few good ones though!

tiibet
i think he was panicking a little bit about his trosers, too. But i tried to smile him and show it was only fun, and not embarrassing at all. And i think he saw that people thought it was just funny, and he was relaxed, lol. He is very cute

Mika was like 'oh hi there' signed and moved on That's awesome that he met everyone! I think with how the theater is set into its only little dead in street type thing it makes it easier to meet him because I think the front is the only way out (could be wrong though.) Thanks for the videos! I love how he drags the pants back out to put them on. Oooh you'll have to show us what the poster looks like! I wonder why he was panicking about his fly being broken. He dances around in his boxers but when his fly breaks he gets nervous? Or was this before he did the pants change?
pattycakes
I love it. Who else would change pants ONSTAGE? I think Mika's the only one.. and he acts like it's just the normal thing to do! Thank you for those videos. Made my night.

omdeliom
This is my first post... and tonight was my first Mika concert as well. From beginning to end, it was PURE JOY!!! Seeing Mika perform live, as you all already know, was the best of the best... I loved every minute of it! I also loved the energy of the crowd - the most fun, juicey and devoted fans, who knew every word to all of his songs! I think Mika is by far the most talented, charismatic, interesting, adorable, creative, energetic performer out there. SO happy I got to go see him at the Orpheum tonight! Mika's music even inspired me to put some fun images to a few of his songs... Can't wait to see all the footage everyone took at the show up on YouTube tomorrow and re-live tonight all over again! While I had to leave after the show was over, it was great to read that he came out afterward and that some of you got to actually see him up close & personal...! P.S. I also thought Gary Go did a great job! Fabulous energy and attitude!

Sophis
I just uploaded a few photos from the concert....the quality is awful, I apologize. http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/album.php?albumid=400 One thing at the concert that nearly ruined my night: I was sitting quite a bit back and when Mika came on stage for the encore and started singing Toy Boy (which is one of my favorites and it made me cry), there were girls who screamed out "SING GRACE KELLY." I thought it was so incredibly rude, and I really really hope he didn't hear it...
