MIKA has released his live album, MIKA Live From Brooklyn Steel. Bottling magic from an unforgettable evening in celebration of his critically acclaimed fifth album My Name Is Michael Holbrook, he captured his sold-out show at Brooklyn Steel last fall. He kicked off the set with the 2019 single “Ice Cream” and ran through instantly recognizable anthems such as “Happy Ending” before closing out with his signature smash “Grace Kelly.”

On 13th April, Mika will head back to the US for a run of shows, his biggest North American concerts to date! It will kick off with two shows at Coachella, followed by San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Saint Paul, Chicago, Miami Beach, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and Boston!
Fan pre-sale starts tomorrow, 22nd January 2020 at 10am (local time) – using the code ‘REVELATION2020.’ All dates and ticket links are in the Shows tab.

We've been waiting since last fall for this! The new live album from MIKA, recorded last September during one of his shows in New York City, will be released next week, 31 January 2020!
MIKA says: "One of the highlights of last year was returning to New York to play two incredible shows at Brooklyn Steel, and thanks to my team and the incredible Frank Filipetti, the whole concert was recorded. It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am releasing 'MIKA: Live from Brooklyn Steel!" available on 31st January! M x"
We'll have more details on where and how to order soon!

Today Mika releases his long-awaited fifth album, the 13-track ‘My Name Is Michael Holbrook’! Accompanying the worldwide release is the brand new music video for Sanremo, also out today.
“The day has finally come! I’ve loved sharing my new songs and music videos with you over the last few months, but it has all been leading up to this. It feels wonderful to announce that my brand new album ‘My Name Is Michael Holbrook’ is out now! Listen, love, share and let me know what you think!”
Speaking on the Album, MIKA explains: “I wanted to find out where I came from and why my legal name is Michael Penniman Holbrook Junior,” says MIKA. “I had the title of the album before I had the album. It was a manifesto. It was a challenge for me.” Seeking to uncover the identity of MIKA before ‘Grace Kelly’, he found a profound sense of joy at his discovery. “It was quite liberating. I freed myself of the idea of MIKA.” With My Name Is Michael Holbrook, MIKA intimately shares his whole self with his audience. All he asks now is for us to do the same: “We don’t need perfection. We need character, we need emotion. To feel free to express yourself,” says MIKA. “Express yourself, you won’t be judged here.”

Birthday Project 2019: Donation to UNHCR

Once again this year, we've set up a page on JustGiving.com, so that MFC can wish Mika a happy birthday by making a donation in his name to the UNHCR, the UN organization that aids refugees worldwide.

As we have done the last few years, we have set a goal -- this year the target is €3000. Last year, we raised just over €4500, which was phenomenal!
We realize that with a Mika tour on the horizon many will be pinching pennies, but we do hope that you'll be as generous as possible.
We'll leave the donation page open until Mika's birthday, 18 August. After that date, I'll compile a list of donors and pass it on to Mika's team with our warmest birthday wishes to our favorite musical artist!
If you have any questions, please leave them here and we'll get them answered for you. Also, you might want to take a look through last year's thread for possible tips and tricks on donating. I recall that there were some issues for Italian fans, not sure if those same problems will show up again this year.
Please donate in Euros -- it just makes it easier if everyone donates in the same currency.
