Have you read/heard somewhere that it's only supposed to be 100 people? I was thinking more as the record company site said they had 50 pairs to give away.........which is already 100...............then there's all the peeps who got tickets for attending the screen tests..............then all of the registrations via vodafone. Mmmmmmmmmm......I was thinking 500?? I'd be interested to know what everyone else thinks? Vix x

Its a gig being filmed for Vadofones TBA series by endemol to be shown on Channel 4. Everyone's desperate for the tickets so if u can't go ask people to PM you if they want them.............not sure about swapping the details over to them this late on though but you could try. Vix x

Jo and I are now coming too!! A girl she works with (and hardly knows!) went to the February Manchester gig and we saw her there. She got the text today but now can't go and asked around her department for Jo's number as she knew she likes (duhhh!! loves!) Mika and voila!!! I can't believe it! Anyway, I'm now joining the frantic preparations and need to know....... 1. What's everyone wearing? 2. What time is everyone getting to manchester? 3. Where is everyone meeting? 4. Can we join you? (I've never met any other MFCers before!) 5. If we all stick together and are looking crazy in our costumes - do you think we'll be shown on the documentary? 6. Other things that I haven't even thought of yet!!! Vix xxx

If I get some from TBA..............I live about 40 miles from Manchester and a few people are welcome to stay at my house (it's a bit crazy just now cos of renovations but I have two double mattresses and quilts etc plus the sofas so if you don't mind a kinda camping theme..........you're welcome! It was a nice review eh?! I noticed that there are some dodgy comments on Youtube about the video and the woman in it..........being one of them it was a bit hard to read. I did wonder what the reaction would be to the way it was filmed/edited and the song's material it's self. I was thrilled to be filmed on the day but started worrying later that there would be a backlash about all of the big girls that appeared in it. It's a really odd situation to be such a fan of a musician and be in their video...you lose any kind of objectivity. V.weird!! Vix x

It's just mad isn't it? The anxiety we put ourselves through in the quest to see him more and more!! Everyone around me is like..."but uv seen him live........will he be doing different songs if u go again?" I have to explain to them that I would go and see him live everynight if it were humanly possible! They just don't get it!! Thank goodness for the MFC!!! I feel so normal when I pop on here! I'm not sure that I'm due any more luck after getting the Big weekend tickets and the appearance in the video.........but I'm willing it with every bit of energy I've got.............let us get tickets.........let us get tickets!! It's not like there's that many of us on here that would actually be able to go at short notice so we should have first dibs on these bloody tickets. I noticed you've still got the Blink date on ur sig..........I've not cancelled my train tickets or hotel yet...........just can't accept that I can't go as I'd planned to...........what about u? I'm still reeling from the cancelling of the first day of the artwork exhibiton.......I have booked and paid for train tickets and a hotel and can only go on that day as I'm visiting my family in Scotland the next day then going into hospital for a big op the week after. I thought I had it all organised so that I could just foget about it and that it would be a nice distraction to my nerves about going into hospital then the thread started on here saying they were making it a private party on the first day! Words can't express how upset I am and I really think it's mean to the fans who wanted to go on that day. I haven't got the heart to cancel everything yet cos I still can't believe they've done it after anouncing it to the fans on the mikasounds page as a definite event. Vix x

It opens with Mika sitting in a barber's chair.........the barber whips of the wrap thingy and Mika leaves and starts walking down the street. One of the "Big Girls" spies him from a shop window and joins him...then 3 more "Big Girls" join in..then the last two..........they then dance their way through Croydon Market whilst ordinary folk look on in amazment! Cut to a railway bridge where the 6 Big Girls shimmey towards the camera with Mika siddling along besides them! Then to "our" bit!! Cut to the High Street and Mika, the 6 Big Girls and us lot sashaying along following the camera (BTW I'm wearing a tourquoise top and have long dark hair!!). Then cut to Mika, the Big Girls and us lot running through concrete arches at Croydon College, streamers going off everywhere and the front 6 girls carrying huge chiffon flags. Then there's some of the "freeze" dancing to the heavy guitar section of the song whilst eveyone's in a big circle round Mika, the Big Girls, the band, the album charaters, etc.......the balloons are let off during this part. Lastly there's footage of the "dance off" which is really fun......lots of cameos from us lot and the last scene is the umbrella shot! We all dip down with our umbrellas as Mika sings the last few bars of the song! Oh what fun we had crouching down in front of Mika!!!!! I can't believe that they used so much of the whole days filming........it's more that I could ever have imagined. I really did expect to be cut out completely or to be saying to my friends...there I am, that flash of blue for a milli-second! Instead I even have the luxury of having bits I do and don't like of me in it!! It really was a privillage to be part of it and I hope that everyone who was there is thrilled with the results. I did wonder whether they might decide to do something completely different and scrap our footage.....or heavily mix it with other filming from elsewhere. I could go on and on but basically, it was a chance in a million to be able to take part and to see the finished article is just too exciting! Nope.......but I did tell him that he had to spot me in the crowd when I spoke to him at the video shoot! I said "it's not like there will be many other people there!! I expect you to spot me!!" He just laughed! He did tell the crowd that he'd been filming the Big Girl video the day before and described it to the crowd......then asked......."are there any big girls out there?.......this one's for u!" I suspect it wasn't aimed at me.......but Jo thought it could have been!! Who knows eh?? I can live in hope that he remembered me! Vix x
