i know, it's crazy. I mean, if I knew Mika, for like, years, I would so date him. To me he's just perfect - everything I'd like in a man. But *sigh* I don't know him in real life. I wouldn't date him just because he's a celebrity - I actually really do fancy him *blush* And if he's looking for someone "weirder, the better" then erm...well I'm quite weird myself But I like being weird. yeah we had everyone jumping around us going ARE YOU GOING OUT CHARLIE AND CAROLING SITTING IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-G blah di blah. we tried ignoring them but then they thought we were walkovers. i just got verbal abuse, it was my friend who got it physically. I can remember two particularly very bad incidents. We talked to teachers, family, everything. nothing ever worked. eventually he went home every lunch time in order to avoid the bullying and i had to strengthen some relationships with other people (i got on with people, but charlie was basically the only person i hung out with) and then after that he got home schooled. then he came out homosexual and then WOOOOO did the bullying continue. Charlie and his mother decided it best to get away from where they live and now they live two hours away. It's not bad, i talk to him everyday and we see eachother when we can. For example, i'm going round his tomorrow for a couple of days so we can shoot the love today video. Bullies didn't stop us being friends. It just made us stronger, enabled us to look after ourselves and I suppose it made us smarter too. I look at the bullies now and they're nothing but chavs, creating havoc because they've nothing better to do. SUCKERS

This is basically what I wrote in the scrapbook. Mika was bullied at school, and so were me and my best mate. we were different because we hung out together - just the two of us - boy and girl. I wrote to him saying that he is such an inspiration, a good role model and proof that people can get through it.

I learn to speak the correct pronounciation by singing them in songs first. I am quater Italian, and have met my Italian cousins a few times, but I don't really know much of the language. However, I have learnt "I won't say I'm in Love" (from disney's Hercules) in Italian and i just love singing it. I know this isnt really related to the whole "learn italian, mika!" lol but i was just answering the whole pronounciation thing. yeah. OOOH ACTUALLY I GOT ONE. Buongiorno Bella lol i think i spelt that wrong but oh well!

hahaha same here. I am from Essex, and I don't really have an essex accent. I can well be spoken most times, and people used to say I was posh when I first started senior school (I used to reply saying "No I'm not, actually" which was totally the wrong thing to say) so what if people have an accent? EVERYONE has an accent, effing get over it.

Because people are just nosy. Let's face it we all like to have a good giggle at some celebs sometimes. Knowing celebrities a bit more personally makes you feel as if you actually kinda know them. I know that sounds retarded, but that's how it is. However, the press do really dig deep. While studying Media Studies it can be horrific at what lengths the press will do to find out information. I mean, I remember Mika doing an interview on MTV (i think) and he said he has about five different phones, and all his family members and friends have to keep changing their numbers because somehow the press find them out and ring them for stories. It is rather sad. I totally respect Mika's decision in not discussing ANYTHING to do with his love life. Even telling the world your sexual orientation and kick things off. If Mika told people what he is and the press saw him with a particular gender, we all know they'd be going "IS THIS MIKA'S SO-AND-SO?" Mika doesn't need that, especially so early in his career. And a death threat is going way too far (obv). I reckon it was just a mild threat, scaring him into just spilling the beans for this particular person's curiosity (and a lot of other people too). Obviously I can't really say whether the threat was mild or not because I've not read it. Well, I know Mika knows he has to look after himself. He lives in London for God's sake, he's a big boy now

I personally wouldn't think it's a good idea. Although i would LOVE to hear him sing Queen, too many people are already comparing him, and too many haters already think he's trying to be like Freddie, so taking the lead in Queen's song would just be the cherry on top for them. Sure, Mika can do whatever he wants, but I know the press would say a lot on it.

HAHAHA I totally skim-read the whole paragraph. I thought I was the first one to think of a picnic - obviously not. oh well!
