  1. my fave's also margharita, it's the cheapest and the best! my fave was in a pizzeria near the spanish steps in rome!
  2. maybe i should do that, too... after listening to it one time, i don't really like it.
  3. wow. i just read through all the 77 pages in this thread - and now my stomach hurts from laughing, you guys are SO funny!! :lmao: and the part i liked best... well, i'll just post one of my pix here (sorry it's blurry) and leave the rest to your imagination.
  4. can i do everything i want with him in that one hour? no, i'd only do that if i was given enough money to buy everything anew. but, let's change the question a bit (and i certainly wouldn't do that!): you can spend 1 hour with mika, but you'd have to give away your computer with ALL its data on it (and all backups, if you have any), would you do that?
  5. wow, the last time i looked on that thread (yesterday evening) it was only 2 pages - and now 75! but i like what's in it! *is off to read naughty thread*
  6. *goes looking for that thread*
  7. i probably would. but i hope if that ever happens i'll be drunk - not completely though, but just enough so i don't get really scared by dancing in front of so many people! thinking about it again... if it involved dirty dancing with mika, i certainly would!!!! although i'd probably get booed by the crowd, but that would be worth it! would you do partner-skydiving with mika (one parachute for both of you together), even if you are/were scared of skydiving?
  8. ah thanx. i know them but didn't know it was them because they just said their first names.
  9. i collect sand from different beaches of the world. luckily i have friends who travel a lot, and i ask them to bring me a bit of sand from the beaches... it's really amazing how different it all is. the best one i have so far is from a beach in costa rica, it's black and almost as fine as powder. and i collect movies, i record them from tv if i like them, and i just keep them all. together with the videos and dvds i bought, i currently have about 400 movies. could open a video store with that, lol
  10. i love their music! when i was 12, i copied one of their records from a friend on tape, and i listened to that on my walkman all the time, i still know all the words to those songs. my faves are hello goodbye, penny lane, all you need is love, here there and everywhere, and well, actually most of their songs lol
  11. about the missing interview, maybe they wanted to ask too personal questions, like about mika's sexuality, and mika didn't want that (of course), so they didn't do it at all? just a theory. and about the comparison to daniel küblböck, stefan raab always says such things, that's just him and that's why i usually don't watch his show, it is all about being mean to other people. but at least he also said everyone should buy mika's album, it's great music. although i also don't like daniel k., there actually is one thing he has in common with mika, they both just do what they want and dress like they want, no matter what others say.
  12. they did exactly the same with me! first i had no idea why they voted me class captain, but i knew it couldn't be anything good, as no one liked me. and soon it turned out that it was so they could blame me for things that went wrong and make the teachers hate me, too. you're absolutely right. my mum first did nothing because she said it's normal that kids tease each other, she didn't quite understand HOW bad it was. when she did, she talked with teachers so i changed to a different class (there were 4 classes in each year at my school). it got a little bit better after that, but it still didn't stop, as the students from the different classes knew each other and talked about me. my mum even joined the parents' association at my school, but she couldn't do anything, because teachers just didn't care, they just looked away and pretended there's nothing wrong. there was a story in the german media recently about a girl who reported some guys at her school because they kept beating up other students. these guys got a punishment and were reported to the police (but they could stay at that school). but after that, the girl who reported them got bullied by many others for telling the teachers about it! in the end, even the headmaster said she has to change school because the whole thing was bad for the schools reputation!! can you believe that?! it's just SO unfair!!!
  13. many thanx for all your stories, it's good to know that i'm not alone, although of course it's horrible that all these things happen!! *big hug to all you guys!* and what we can certainly learn from this thread is, that no matter what you do or who you are, if people want to bully you, they'll find something to do so. i bet if they bully you about being too big and then you lose weight, they'd start bullying you for being too skinny instead, or anything else. i got bullied at secondary school, mainly at the age of 11-16. and i never really understood why. my mum said it was because we lived in a small flat in a not-so-nice area, while most others at my class grew up in nice houses... but no-one ever teased me about that, the personal things were more about my behaviour (i'm very sensitive, so i got angry or started to cry easily... i guess they liked that, because it made it so easy for them to get a result of their bullying! ), about my last name (the first part of it is similar to the german word for "goose", so that was their fave name for me) or my looks, especially my nose. it took me quite a few years after that to get used to my nose and my last name! the other stuff was all these little mean things they could do without it being too obvious for the teachers, like throwing my stuff around the classroom, calling me names, whispering and laughing about me when i was there, etc etc. they just gave me the feeling every day that they didn't want me there. one of the worst things i remember was when between 2 classes, they threw the contents of my schoolbag from the window of the 2nd floor, and when i came back from picking them up, the teacher was there and blamed me for being late! he didn't want to hear my reasons, and of course everyone laughed... so they never hurt me physically, but it was like a stab in my heart every time. the result of the bullying was, that i lived more and more in my own little world. my grades at school became worse (before the bullying i had always been a very good student) and i was always late for classes because i didn't want to be alone with the others, without a teacher. of course the teachers weren't happy about me being late all the time... what helped me through it, besides my mum and a girl from the neighbourhood who was my only friend at that time, was music and being a fan of first nkotb, then take that and other boybands. i liked to sing and play guitar, and it was the only thing where i could get positive reactions even from the bullies at my school. so i thought "one day i'll be a famous popstar and then you'll regret bullying me!". well, that never happened, but i'm glad about it now, i wouldn't want to be a popstar anymore. and i started a fanclub for the boyband nkotb, their fans were a group of people where i felt accepted (although there were also bullies among them, but that's a different story...) and i spent my time doing a fanzine for the club, that was where i discovered my passion for writing (as you can see in this post, lol )... and this is what i earn my money with now. the bullying only ended when my mum made me change to a girls' school when i was 16. i didn't want that, because i fancied a guy from another class at my old school. but looking back, it was a good decision because at the new school i wasn't bullied much anymore. i even had a friend for a while, and although most people there also didn't really like me, they left me alone and it was much better than getting bullied all the time. this part of my life is something i don't tell many people, because i fear they would see me as a weirdo because of it, they'd think "well, no one liked her at school, so something must be wrong with her!"... although i know, that someone who would think that, wouldn't be a real friend anyway.
  14. hi, i thought i'd open up a thread for all those of us who got or still get bullied at school (or work), or anyone who wants to say something on this topic. as we all know, it has happened to mika and he said the best way to deal with it is talk about it - so let's do that. for example: what happened? how did/do you deal with it? if it has been in the past, what influence does it have on your life now? did it change you and in what way? i got bullied at school and although the worst part of it was over 15 years ago, it still influences my life now. for example, i feel totally uncomfortable when i get into a new group of people where i don't know anyone, for example in a new job. that's when i get all shy (although my friends certainly wouldn't say i'm shy) and i have the feeling that i just want to be alone, not having to tell anyone anything about me - which of course isn't good, as what i really want is to be part of the group and make friends with people. plus, i'm extremely sensitive to people talking behind my back. if i find out someone talks badly about me behind my back, i get really angry. it's exactly what i thought back then, when i was bullied: "why don't you just tell me in the face what kind of problem you have with me, instead of talking behind my back, laughing about me, calling me names and doing bad things to me?!". back then, i sometimes even wished they would beat me, so i could defend myself instead of feeling just helpless. oh, and i know exactly what mika means when he says the teachers weren't on his side either. some didn't like me either, and most of them just didn't care. the good thing is, it all gets better with the years. i have a lot more self-confidence now and i'm a lot more stable than i was 10 years ago.
  15. my interpretation or stuck in the middle, as these two are my favourites after grace kelly.
  16. hi! grüße von einer anderen mika-verrückten münchnerin!
  17. the interview is somewhere in the news+press part of this forum, the part i'm talking about is on page 38, they're talking about the yellow press telling lies about mika. attitude: (...) it was reported that you turned down an offer to support take that on tour. is that true? mika: not at all. i was not even offered it. my bassist knows gary barlow and asked him about it and he had no idea about it either.
  18. the story that mika turned down take that's offer to support them was made up by the yellow press. mika said this in his interview with "attitude". he never was offered to support them. it's still not sure who will be take that's support act. mel c said she would like to do it, but there's nothing official yet. you say he's "too big"? last year the sugababes supported take that, you also could say they're "too big" to be anyones support act. same for mel c. if mika doesn't want to do it but prefers to do his own tour, it's ok - but "too big" is not a reason. i'd just love it if mika supported take that!!!!!!!!! :thumb_yello: i've loved TT for almost 15 years now, and i've seen no one who has that "special something" on stage like they do... until mika came. so mika and take that together would be the best concert of my life!
  19. you can find the interview here: (news and press section of this forum) http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showpost.php?p=85562&postcount=53
