  1. Remember it's Joshie's b-day soon... 27th Feb
  2. I wonder what kind of Beatles fan products you have? Here are mine... I bought these funny figures last Feb (when seeing Mika in London): http://www.beatlesstorelondon.co.uk/Figures/beatles-cartoon.htm This pink Sgt. Pepper's bag is from that same trip: http://www.kitsch.co.uk/acatalog/beatles_bag_pink.jpg I also have some random cards, posters, mugs, pens, notebooks... And my daddy has all their original vinyles, even the rare ones!
  6. Åtminstone i Finland!! Idag lyssnade jag på en historia om Parc des Princes DVD i radio. Utmärkt! *kram till dig också*
  7. Yeah it was!! I loved especially how they said Mika is a kind of miracle child...
  8. That price sounds really expensive... Our price was the same than other seats. The House of Culture in Helsinki is great place for an acoustic gig. No matter where you sit the sound is really good and you'll have a decent view to the stage. I wouldn't mind queueing there. In PDP Mika gig we sat in the presidentielle section and had plenty of space in front of us to dance. And the most perfect view! On the other hand I've been to standing gigs which were brialliant in their own way. Everything depends on a place where the gig is.
  9. 1) A gift from special friend 2) Listening to great review of Mika's PDP dvd on Finnish radio Both of them made me smile today
  10. Me too! I was in acoustic Rufus Wainwright concert last April in Helsinki and all the seats were allocated. We had the perfect spot near the stage and didn't have to get there early.
  11. Luke was there too... We're so nice girls that we don't want to harass anybody. Honestly Martin didn't look well that morning. If I can trust my memory he caught stomach bug from Germany and was a bit ill in Stockholm. Would have been stupid to disturb him. We were lucky enough to bump into Cherisse and Sara on the elevators to say goodbye after the gig.
  12. Well, can't say anything about that really. In Stockholm we stayed in the hotel next door and I remember that we just went there if we needed to and came back to queue after it. The MIKA hotel remember
  13. LOL! I thought the same. The security guys couldn't have cared less. One of them had priceless face when Mika asked him to hold my poster while signing it... *memories* You lucky girl! We were pushed in Brixton gig... But Hammersmith was good.
  14. I wouldn’t see it like that. I think there’s a huge difference between wild and rude people. And in Stockholm audience was really WILD. In my opinion the biggest problem in that gig was the security. Standing area was too crowded which was the main reason why people were pushing in the beginning of the gig. But the gig itself was AMAZING and Mika was on fire! I understood that people in London had problems with other fans. In Stockholm we didn’t. Everyone behaved calm and friendly after the gig. The most annoying thing was security guys who tried to be too strict with us. But in the end they let us meet Mika inside the venue because it was snowing. It felt like special treatment. Think about how many people around the world have waited for him in rain and cold… hours! For me Stockholm was really good experience and personally I miss those times when everything felt simpler and harmless.
  15. Time flies... Was AMAZING night!! THE moment in my fan history... First time I saw Mika live and met him in person. And of course I shouldn't forget meeting those lovely Swedish MFCers.
  16. Awwww I'm so happy for you!!!!!! Isn't he the most amazing thing in person? The magic in his gigs is totally something that is hard to describe! And the feeling when you get a chance meet him in person... Special moment you feel privileged about... After reading your reports and looking at your pics I felt like crazy fan again.
  17. The stage piano he played on Dodgy Holiday Tour was Yamaha CP300. Love the sound of it! I wonder if Mika will play digital piano on the next tour as well... Would be amazing to see him touring like Rufus W. Only him and the grand piano... If I remember right he played Kawai in PDP in Paris. Totally breathtaking!
  18. Has somebody found the YouTube video where some random guy is imitating Rufus in bathroom? Rufus told about it at the gig in Helsinki... Might be to see it.

    Katy Perry

Incase somebody hasn't heard about this... Katy celebrated her 24th birthday by hosting a Halloween party in LA - dressed as Freddie Mercury. Here's some pics of the night: http://www.thecobrasnake.com/partyphotos/dropdeadkaty/index.html http://www.ronysphotobooth.com/10-28-8.html
  20. You clever girl! And thanks! Always a pleasure to hear complimets about writing cuz English isn't my mother language. And hey, please write a blog after the gig... We wanna know EVERYTHING! I'm sure you'll have a blast!
  21. LOL!!!!!! I just wonder how did you manage to read the blog without accepting my request... Those pics of Rufus... priceless! :roftl:
