I can't believe it, been texting about it with Sharon and when we decide to go for it and I get home and log onto mikasounds to buy it they are bloody sold out and Sharon got hers only an hour beforee me Maybe its not meant to be, had planned a cute gift for Mika too to make and take with me.

Well what can I say? Leeds was my first Mika gig and Oh My God it couldn't have been any better! I arrived at about 3.30 and met the wonderful MFC'ers who were so kind and welcoming to me. It was so great to chat to people who were also obsessed with the sexiest man alive I did initially think at 37 I was too old to be going to a Mika gig but yesterday showed me that age is but a number and felt like a bloody teenager again! I got a bit apprehensive towards the time for going into the venue as it appeared that it didn't matter if you had turned up early to try and get a good spot as anyone with an o2 simcard were let in first but somehow I made it to the front centre stage and when the gorgeous big girls went on stage was right at the barrier, the position couldn't have been better. Right in front of Mika and lots of eye contact. Words seem inadequate to explain how amazing, gorgeous and talented he was Although I don't have anything to compare the performance to - he was electric. He himself said he was in a "wierd mood" due to "staying up until 4 am the nght before watching the winter olympics and eating 3 packets of spearmint extra strong mints"!! He seemed very pissed off though at the end of (I think it was We Are Golden) looked like there was some feedback issues in his earpiece and I saw the dreaded death stare!! I never wanted it to end and his whole performance seemed to last about 10 minutes, it went so fast! Afterwards we waited backstage and he came out and signed a setlist, I managed to gush something and got a "thank you very much" in return!! It was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget, not just for Mika but for all you lovely people I met too, thank you for welcoming me and putting up with my manic high afterwards!! And thank you to Sharon who helped me get home safely as the stupid trains stopped at 9 pm. Filmed the meet and greet and will post a link once I have uploaded it.

Can anyone tell me where and when the lovely MFC'ers are meeeting in Leeds? Thanks

OK, if you could post where and when nearer the time that would be great, was starting to think I wasn't going to go as my son won't go with me now and didn't fancy going on my own, so it will be so nice to meet some people first. I'll be going by train so can get there anytime really, I have a friend who owns a Lebanese cafe in Leeds, if anyone wanted to meet there first or anything let me know... Off to find the spare ticket thread

Ooh new blog alert 22 August Hello fans, sorry I have been MIA but I took my laptop with me on the cliff jump and dropped it. I have a new one now - it's been customised especially for me with 1 million coloured crystals individually glued on. I did think about blogging earlier but it was much more fun to watch the numbers of views to my blog rising by the minute - I have a stat counter you see Anyway, must go and have a cuppa tea, I seem to have a lot of new mugs around now, I'll leave you with a few videos of me looking as gorgeous as ever.
