Grazie mille, Lucrezia! And I keep my fingers crossed for your exam. Re. acting I understand it the same way as mari and mellody do: He is so talented he could act in a series like that if he was asked to and a show like that existed but it's nothing planned.- 3,996 replies

MIKA @G-A-Y, London, England - 06-October-2012
Statue_of_Liberty replied to MikaMadLuke's topic in Before the Show
Oh wow, then they really didn't get the idea of tolerance and stuff! But yeah, people and policies like these do exist as well, sadly. Tbh I was considerng that one as well but then thought of how short the set is so I decided to skip it. However, if that worst case scenario happens at least you didn't pay much and you've got a pretty city to watch. I know how much this helps, though! -

Well, obviously I don't know that event, nor the bar or their security staff. But when I went to a similar event over here about two years ago (gay club, 3€ entry, Roman Fischer (Mika's former support) playing a small set) they would check for security reasons and not for your look. And if you don't have weapons with you or are completely drunk / drugged you should be fine I think. -

Mikasounds and Twitter Update Thread (Part 10)

I know the info is not coming from them. But someone let them leak. And that doesn't happen in other cases. I would loooove to just sit back and wait for proper announcements. But life is forcing to decide things now or at least soon so it doesn't make it easier without even knowing if this announcement is to come soon, let alone the guessing about dates. -

Exactly! The majority of people coming to the concerts isn't travelling but from that city, though. I guess, most of those coming learn from the gig through adverts or radios or whatever and are not waiting for the dates like we are now. It still would be a sign to us that Team M does care about the hardcores that do travel and need to plan, too. But sadly, I don't think they are aware of what late announcements mean for us and that we have to take days off, plan trips, book flights, hotels and organise tickets and somebody to water our plants in the first place. -

Good for them then. But I'm being serious. Other bands I know are able to make proper announcements as well. Why not here? It makes it so difficult for many people to plan ahead based on vague information like these added to some guessing and betting. -

It drives me insane how these information are leaking. At 2nd July we learned about four dates in Germany in autumn, some days later there were two concrete dates in France, today we learn it's the big tour starting and get another French date. Why isn't Team M able to announce a complete tour schedule at once? Or at least the European tour at once, then the Norh-American tour at once, the Asian tour at once, the South-American tour at once,... What is so difficult about it? -

Not that I wouldn't understand you but: Maybe M is -ing as well? -
Very quick summary: We're still on cloud nine, everything was perfect . As you may already know from twitter we could watch the soundcheck which was lovely. He did the new songs we already know and added Underwater, Lola and Kids. All.of them were really really good and made us all . The gig was brilliant. Mika looked very happy, the band got introduced and was full of energy and the audience was great as well and really supportive. I loved how Mika is starting to joke around with his band members! Afterwards we were very really lucky and could quickly meet him. I asked about the gigs in autumn but he couldn't tell me any dates or places because he didn't know apparently. Now my ears are buzzing and I am all and and hope that I can stay in this As I'm going back home only on Saturday night won't be able to upload my pictures earlier than Sunday. But I only took a few good ones so you're not missing out on much . I forgot to post what made me write the report now in the first place the setlist: Relax Blame it on the Girls Billy Brown Blue Eyes Lola Make you Happy Big Girl Lollipop Rain Underwater Happy Ending Celebrate Love Today ------------------ We are Golden Origin of Love Grace Kelly

Well, he didn't sing it at Lovebox. But that was a *very* short set. Do we know if he'll play a full set, meaning at least an hour or so, in Tallinn? -

Thank you, that really helped a lot! I just re-checked the useful information on the festival-page. So we're not allowed to bring food or drinks and filming is forbidden but taking photos is allowed At least they gave the basic information. -
MIKA@Ollesummer Festival - Tallin Estonia
Statue_of_Liberty replied to robertina's topic in Before the Show
Is it allowed to bring liquids / water to the venue? For me personally it's impossible to bring the bubble stuff from home as I travel with hand luggage only But I'll see if I can find a place to buy it in Tallinn. Is there anything else you locals (I suppose you are as you discussed with the organiser) could tell us about the venue or the best way to get there in advance? It'd be lovely to get some advice because I've never been to Tallinn before so your help would be appreciated! -
I won't write a proper report as I think that all the important stuff has been said already. To sum it up: It was waaaaay too short but great to see him again. Most of the pictures I took turned out as blurry and / or crap. So I use my old camera again in the future Anyway, I uploaded the better pictures on photobucket: http://s745.photobucket.com/albums/xx92/Statue_of_Liberty/Mika%20Lovebox%20Festival%20London%2017th%20June%202012/
