You know, maybe I'll be on such a high from the gig that I won't think twice about asking. I remember being dead nervous about meeting Alex K from Franz before I did. Didn't know then If I'd be able to talk to him - but the nerves disappeared as soon as I started to talk to him. I hope it happens that way again. That is If I get to meet him. Moot point otherwise lol

Hee I love it so much I've ripped it off of youtube so I don't have to be online to watch it now. Hope you don't mind. Just can't stop watching the damn thing. Probably my faveourite Meeks vid so far. I just bought myself a digital camera so am hoping to take some footage and pics with that for the Hammersmith gig. Don't think my audio is as good as yours though. Oh and edit - hearing your voice and the person your talking too adds to it immensely - I would be exactly the same. You were witnessing something kind of special and comment is needed. You just can't watch Mika and stay silent can you. lol

I absolutely love your Grace Kelly encore vid Charlotte. Can't stop watching it. Is one of the best video's I've ever ever seen. You were so lucky to be witness to all that. I really hope he takes it easy once back here in London - with his voice I mean obviously. He seems to give so much during performances - I just hope he's not giving too much lol. As a big girl myself - I really do wish the UK had somewhere like this. I mean I'm 33 now so don't go to pubs or clubs much now But it sounds a great place and the US is a tad far away for me to go. I would definitely go to somewhere like this though, if only it was closer ...

It's absolutely and definitely chicken. I converted the youtube vid using vixy.net. Makes the audio louder which is a plus. He obviously did it on purpose knowing you lot (including me) would go nuts. Especially as the previous line is Iain't got no Love, it makes sense he says chicken next - considering in MFC terms what it means. He's playing with us all. lol

I really want to do a t-shirt design myself. I know I probably won't do it. Certainly not before 25th Feb. But what I wanted to do was this: M I K A S A Y S R E L A X On the front of the shirt and then this on the back of it... {T A K E I T E A S Y} There's a T-Shirt making shop in town - or there used to be. I'll have to check if it's still there. Oooh yes, edit if you hadn't realised it's a homage to all those old Frankie shirts my brother used to have and I used to nick. Loved them....

Do you know that I've only been on this board a matter of weeks and have 70 odd posts, and I've been on Franz boards for years now and have at most about 17 on the board I go on most. I think I'm a tad obsessed

Is there really I hate Mika groups. How sad is that. I never go on Facebook so wouldn't know. I mean I can't stand Westlife but I wouldn't make a group dissing them....

I suppose it wasn't so much the Mika thing as more to do with the abuse I got on the way home. I don't know why people act like that - I do shrug it off now adays. I didn't used too - when I left school at 15 - it took me till about 20 before I'd even go out of the house. I was that bad, and the bullying was that atrocious. It just brings it all back I guess. Everything I went through when I was younger. I should be a mess - but I'm kind of o.k. now - If you don't like me - I really, really don't give a damn. It's taken me along time to get to that point.

There's nothing wrong with an opinion, but I do feel there's something wrong with just plain abuse. Maybe I was just brought up different, (or properly).... oh and I hate marmite...

I was at work today. As I've said I work on the Oven Fresh counter at Morisson's - kind of hate the job, but I like the people I work with. Or I thought I did. I was talking to them about Mika. Stupid idea really. All I did was mention that I was gonna see him this month in London. Got such a horrid response. Statements thrown at me by my work colleagues were: What the ****ing hell do you want to see him for - he's a freak. I said kind of shocked - said that he wasn't - that I loved his music and thought he was gorgeous. Bad bad idea. I should not have an opinion. I've never heard such vile stuff come out of people's mouths before in regard to someone they don't even know. Not even gonna say half the stuff they said to me - but you can guess the gist of it. Just made me think about how awful people can be to each other. I mean on the way home - I got called a fat cow by a group of people I was passing. I didn't even know them. Just in the wrong place at the wrong time I guess. Lost count of the number of times this has happened to me where I live. Just cos' your big - it seems people can say what they like to you. People just don't like someone who's different - we're not freaks or weird. THEY SODDING ARE.... Just never ceases to amaze me just how nasty people can be. I shouldn't be surprsied by now though I was bullied non stop for nine flipping years at school. But I'd rather be who I am - which is a nice person - then looked good and be a fecking idiot. Sorry just kind of peed off today ....

Oh and Mana - that was without a doubt the best review of a gig I've ever, ever read. So hope I feel an ounce of what you felt like during my first Mika moment.
