Thank you to everybody who posted their accounts of last night's performance. I really appreciate being to enjoy them through you. Why are some of us "jumping the gun" about the meet and greets ending?? Mika has bronchitis. That does not go away quickly. The Hammersmith Apollo gig was a gig which had been postponed & I am sure it would be Very important to Mika that he not cancel again or disappoint his fans during the performance. Mika also has another two gigs - one tonight and one on the 28th that I am sure he is very concerned about. From Everything I read from the North American Tour Mika sure made himself available for his fans after each concert where he could. Could his "people," last night, have handled things nicer & better - For Sure!! Maybe I am being optimistic. I am Very disppointed for the fans that counted on meeting him but why are we jumping to conclusions & pulling them out of "thin air?" Just my thoughts. Congratualtions to All of you that were at The Hammersmith Apollo last night!

His opening The Brits was Spectacular especially considering that Mika had bronchitis. Thanks again for your warm welcome. Mika Rocks! Kudos Mika!!

To All the Australian Mika Fans I would just like to say that I hope Mika does an Australian Tour Very Soon! I am a Canadian & as you know we & the American Mika Fans were just treated to a Very Successful Sold-Out North American Tour! My Dream Wish would be that Mika & Baz Luhrmann collaborate on a show as they are both So Artistically Magnificent! It would be Spectacular!! The colours, the costumes, the set - with their ideas & vision then Mika's music - WOW!! One of the reviewers in Canada said watching Mika's concert was like attending a broadway show. Mika and Baz could produce something Out Of This World!! As I Admire both of these artistic men this is just something I would Love to see in the near future. Mika Rocks!! Kudos Mika!!

Right On guylainem123!! I Totally agree! Let us All allow for him to be in the moment & be Himself! In the little time I have been here I find Everybody very excited about & for Mika but some here seem - to me anyway - to Demand an Awful lot from Mika! I don't think Any of us could Please Everybody All the time!! Mika is Constantly Very Gracious, Humble & Appreciative. Mika Rocks!! Kudos Mika!!

Thank You A.Clay for posting all of those North American Tour Reviews! I had read some of them before. Mr. Travis Bortolotto reviewed the Vancouver Show & said Mika's stage show was more like a broadway show. I totally agree! I would Love to see Mika - in a few years - put on a broadway show in London & New York! I think Mika could do a Spectacular broadway type show being the Showman & Ringmaster that he is!! Mika Rocks!! Kudos Mika!!

Am I Missing something here? I just visited youtube & did the Mika vids date added & there are at least 6 vids of Mika opening The Brits! They are same performance that babspanky had posted. What am I missing here if this is about copyright?? Sorry I am new to all or some of this stuff. Thanks. Kodes

Yea for us Canadians! The Brits Award Show is Being Rebroadcast Tonight at 8 P.M. on CBC in Canada!! Mika is the First Music Act of the Night at The Brits With His Spectacular Setting & Performance!! I Don't Know When He Receives His British Breakthrough Act Award - Sorry! I Can't Wait to Watch The Whole Show!! Kudos Mika!!

Thank you babspanky! I just wrote to you yesterday at your youtube account for the Amazing Mika opening The Brits performance! I have wriiten to express my appreciation a few times at you account & your posted vids. I see today that you have had 46,280 views & 19 honours - so far! Congrats!! I always look for your vids for Mika's Best performances!

This is my first post here other than thanking the moderator for the warm welcome. I think all of you here know more about Mika than I do as I only heard his music & instantly became a fan last June. I have watched every vid & every article about Mika that I can get my hands on. Finding the Mika Fan Club here has really given me more exposure & more information about this Very talented songwriter, performer, artist & singer. Mika is a showman through and through! I think some or a lot of you will Blast me for what I am about to say though. From every interview that I have read & watched I am certain ( IMO ) that Mika does not really care about awards. He has certainly stated many times that he does not do what he does for that kind of attention & reward. So I was surprised that so many of the diehard fans here were saying how they thought Mika was upset & disappointed at not winning in the other three categories. Could you be projecting our own disappointment on him? I was disappointed too. But I still don't think he was or that he showed any kind of disappointment. I also don't understand where a few of the Great fans here think Mika was drunk or had been tipsy at the Capitaol One interview. Mika looked & sounded like the fungoing & mischevious tike that he is always seems to be in his interviews plus he is probably on medication. I realize that this is not a good way to start my interacting here having joined about ten days ago & spent all my time here reading your Wonderful & Insightful posts with So much Incredible information & tales of meeting Mika in person. All of you are truly Amazing! Babspanky your vids are Excellent! Rak1 I was Happy to read that your valentine wishes were well received by Luke! Dcedb I Love the way you skillfully moderate everything here & your Terrific additions! Lollipop_monkey your narration of your time at the Vancouver concert & your meeting with Mika was Beathtaking! I felt like I was there!Writing should definitely be in your career or future if you have the passion because you cerrtainly have the skill. I know I am missing a Lot of other fans here but just trying to read the posts as quickly as they are posted is a lot to take in. I know I am biased but I think Mika's performance was the Hit of the night! I think the exposure & nominations & the one win will attract a lot more fans. Mika suffering bronchitis while performing as well as he did truly says a lot about the man! The theatre set was Dazzling & to me So was Mika!! Mika's acceptance speech was Gracious, humble and all inclusive as the man is himself. Mika Rocks! Kudos Mika!!
