It really depends on what's going on. Last week, I had a migraine for 3 days straight because I hadn't had any sleep. There are certain things that trigger them, such as lack of sleep, going too long without eating, eating too much sugar, that time of the month, and even weather changes. The most annoying thing about my migraines is that I have no way of knowing when one is coming on. Some people see orbs before they get one or they get a certain feeling, but mine just hit me. Plus, I can avoid all of the triggers and still get one for no apparant reason.

I'm glad that Mika has helped. He's helped me too. I was getting depressed over my migraines and taking care of my mother (she was out of work because her migraines had gotten so bad.) His music made my life brighter.It's amazing how much one person can help us.

I'm sending lots of positive thoughts and energy your way, and I know that many others here are as well.

Ah, that sounds annoying. I have to do something similar but not for anything so serious as seizures. I get migraines all the time, and I have to keep a migraine journal and go to the doctor all the time. So far, the doctors have not helped me at all. :eyeroll: They're always giving me a new medicine, diet,or form of therapy to try. Sometimes doctors don't even know what to do.

I hope things get better for you. You are way too fun of a person to be kept down by illness.

I was originally hospitalized for dehydration. Then, when I recovered from that, they thought that there was something wrong with my kidneys. They did numerous tests, but found nothing. I can't even remember what happened for them to even test my kidneys in the first place. I just remember feeling horrible. They never figured out what was wrong, but I'm fine now, so I don't know.

Wow, it must be hard to be under constant watch for so long. If you do leave early, is there something you can do at home to continue your treatment?

The hospital food around here is terrible too.

I guess hospital food sucks everywhere. Last time I was in the hospital, a few years ago, my sister got in trouble for trying to sneak good food to me.

How long will you have to be in the hospital?
