Dank je. Ook aan smokesignal (heb eigenlijk geen idee wie je bent x-D Alleen dat we blijkbaar samen in het koor hebben gezeten.) Heb al allerlei wilde verhalen gelezen over het genezen ervan: 4 weken zo'n afschuwelijke nekband dragen, gewoon rusten, opereren,.... Doemscenario's x-D Vind het al niet erg meer dat Media Markt mij buitengegooid heeft. Als ze mij niet deeltijds kunnen aannemen omdat ze geen uitzonderingen kunnen maken en bovendien liegen tegen mij over mijn contract, kunnen ze voor mijn part de boom in.

Mika akoestisch Heb via Amazon voor 4 pond de deluxe versie van The Boy Who Knew Too Much besteld. Kwestie van mijn collectie te vervolledigen. Als al deze **** achter de rug is ga ik als zelfstandig kleermaakster beginnen denk ik. Mode ligt mij wel :-D Moet er alleen werk, héél veel werk van maken.

Dank voor je medeleven. Ik heb drie weken lichtjes voorovergebogen gestaan op mijn werk. Gecombineerd met het sowieso stresserende leven dat ik leid (met een chronisch zieke vriend en een hypotheek die ik moet afbetalen) is dat een recipe for disaster. In de Deluxe-editie zitten twéé schijfjes trouwens, dat was ik misschien vergeten vermelden. Op het ene schrijfje staan 14 nummers, waaronder inderdaad Elle me dit, maar er is nog een schijfje dan, met acht extra nummers op. De remix van "Happiness" van Sam Sparro door The Magician vind ik dan weer wél beter dan het origineel trouwens

Ik kom hier ook wel af en toe eens op. Vooral toen ik nog niks anders te doen had dan rondsurfen x-D Maar nu ben ik weer werkloos na de volle drie weken voltijds gewerkt te hebben (ben gecrasht) en heb ik dus tijd genoeg. Mensen die mij een knuffel willen geven: heel graag, ik heb alle steun nodig die ik kan krijgen. Mensen die het niet interesseert: groot gelijk, het is jouw probleem niet x-D Mijn huisarts vermoedt dat ik met een nekhernia zit, omwille van de geblokkeerde zenuwen naar mijn vingers, elleboog en handen algemeen, en omwille van de gigantische uitstraling vanuit mijn nek naar de bovenkant van mijn hoofd. Over "The Origin of Love": hij is te koop in de Special Edition bij Media Markt voor €16.90. (Of was het 17.90? In elk geval belachelijk weinig geld.) Je kunt natuurlijk ook de "gewone" CD kopen, die kost 3 euro minder, maar dan mis je wel het prachtige "Un soleil mal luné", "Karen", "L'amour dans le mauvais temps" (als ik mij niet vergis de Franse versie van "Blame It on the Weather"), en "Tah Dah", met tussen dat voorlaatste en dat laatste vier afschuwelijke remixes van diverse nummers. (Alsof ik het verkloten van "Overrated" nog niet erg genoeg vond.) Soit, ik ga eens zwijgen.

Of course I don't mind. It's just, he didn't "have to" insist. It looked painful; at a second thought, yes, he was right.

@smokesignal: Mika had to convince me because I thought it was just ONCE bending through my knees and I do that all the time (e.g. for tying my shoelaces.) I did not know we had to bounce up and down on bent knees, that would have killed them I think. Also, I am used to people ignoring my joint problems or laughing at me because I can't walk or run properly. I'm not used to people being that attentive about it. Which of course makes Mika even more adorable to me. When I saw you all bouncing up and down I was like, right, so that's why I'm not allowed to do that... Anyone else would have tried to make me, though.

Yes, I really did have a wonderful time. I'm wondering who took the picture of Mika and me? I have found loads on Facebook of me standing in the way of all sorts of things, occasionally blending in, but not that one picture I'm looking for... Who took it? If you have it, please e-mail or PM it to me, post it on here or on Facebook, tweet me - I want to have that picture :-D

I gave a shredded report on Facebook. Blowing bubbles during 'Underwater' <3 looks magical from the stage. For those who weren't there, check out the vid for "Popular" - it proves that yes, you can hear the choir. I wasn't in that much pain. I think at festivals pain bothers me because I'm waiting and bored. I was having fun all day so yes, I was in pain, but I didn't care. I didn't do the crouching act though, I think that would have caused me not to be able to get out of bed for a day or three. Mika asked: "Is anyone hurt?" and I was like, yes, my knees are inflamed. And he was like, OK, you shouldn't do this act then. Just dance around a little, we'll see. "Maybe we can get you a chair." Awwwwwww <3 (I have inflammation lumps on my knees. Anxiously waiting for them to go away. Taking anti-inflammatories in the meantime.) We had hideous gowns that smelt like a dead rat, to which Mika's mum though of no better than to spray a horrible perfume on them. Thanks, mum... The gowns looked like typical choir gowns so Naïm started singing "Oh Happy Day" almost instantaneously and about half of us joined him. It was fun. In the vid it looks like he's throwing a bear at the stage. It dropped right at my feet. I was quite insulted. He was really throwing it to nowhere. I'm appalled that I can't iron my backstage pass to my polkadot dress (I put on a polkadot dress for this occasion.) During the rehearsal: singing French "Karen" with the choir, getting treated to the English version. Loved every moment of it! I have done quite a lot of gigs/performances but every time at parties and the max. amount of people I performed for was 330 at a wedding party. I was so bloody ****ing nervous! It went okay though. I felt adrenaline rushing through me when we were all told to leave stage again. I tortured my knees, ankles and shins (that's new - shins!) yesterday, but it was all worth it. Oh, and Mika dragged ME into the picture! I don't care about pictures of him, I even forgot to bring my three CDs. I'm anxiously waiting for the picture to come on line sometime. Also, thank you Tim Van Der Kuil, you made my day :-D Auditioning for the alto choir and getting a request to please sing the high parts because "You have a terrific voice"... Aaahhhh... I am just so glad I auditioned. I auditioned three days ago, the day after I had an e-mail telling me I could go and then there was the magic from yesterday... I should do more stuff like that.

OMG THANK YOU!!! He reminds me so much of my boyfriend Tom. His huge eyes, his long hairs, his white skin, His tallness (Tom's 1cm shorter - so if I ever get to talk to him I'll be used to looking up :-P), his amazing talents,... I had such a horrible night full of nightmares. This is soooooooooo making my day.
