Today while going to the airport I took a free Metro newspaper from Friday ( a day after "our" evening). Good surprise: there is something about Caribana festival from the 16th of June. Bad surprise: they don't mention Mika at all ☹️ How could they do it to us????? BTW - at the airport I have seen a man looking like the lead singer of Klischee group. I am not sure if it was him, but anyway - who knows?

I don't know if you've heard but to there was a big problems with flight systems over Switzerland. They shot down the sky for several hours. I thought I couldn't make to come to Geneva today. Some flights were transferred to Italy. Hopefully my flight was later at noon so they managed to bring the system back. I arrived with 20 minutes of delay only.

I would like to go out. But maybe later in the evening. About 7pm? It's so hot! I went to buy some food and came back exhausted! I don't know how we will stand this temperature tomorrow 😱😱😱😱

Great. My hotel is just in front of the river. Next to this big hotel Mandarin Oriental. So we can meet there at the Mandarin entrance and then walk along the river to the port where the water buses are.

I will be at my hotel about 2pm. But I have to buy something to eat - there is no breakfasts in my hotel - they closed the restaurant during pandemic. They put fridges in rooms. And I will need 1-2 hours of a nap. But it would be nice to take a walk in the evening along the lake. And maybe eat something together?

My plane to London is only 30 minutes later than this to Geneva (or actually to Frankfurt - I don't have a direct flight to Switzerland). So again early wake up in two weeks.

Here is a short note about the movie Anything's Possible. https://www.russh.com/anythings-possible-film/ Amazon is proving itself to be quite the leading platform in groundbreaking queer content. With Michael Grandage's queer cop film, My Policeman costarring Emma Corrin and Harry Styles due for release later this year as well as hit book to series adaptation, Conversations With Friends making its debut there seems to be no signs of waning support for the community. Now it seems, we can expect more in depth, LGBTQI+ content with Billy Porter joining the ranks with his directorial debut, Anything's Possible; a trans coming of age film helping to make serious changes to the ideas surrounding the culture of conventional romcoms. What is Anything's Possible about? The film follows Kelsa [Eva Reign] a Black trans high school senior and Khal [Abubakr Ali] as they navigate challenges while falling in love. In an article with Out, Porter discussed his intention for this film to make serious in roads with wider society on the experience of trans culture. He told the publication "This is an aspirational story. We’re not here yet. This movie might look foreign to people because we’re not really there yet, but that’s the point. We’re not there yet across the board. We’re there sometimes. We have some cases of this, but it’s not commonplace yet. And my hope is that we can move more towards that". He went on to advocate this by saying, “I want everybody to feel seen. And I don’t think it’s just trans people because this character stands in proxy for a lot of communities going unseen, being silenced. There are a lot of energies and forces out there right now, trying to erase entire groups of human beings from this planet. It’s not going to work. The answer is ‘no". The story is an example of how the conventions of love can take on many forms, and giving a space for those smaller communities to explore that has never been more vital.
