    Living new experiences and deriving inspiration from them to create are two different things and processes. He recently said in an interview that he has (had) writer’s block. I suspect him being incredibly busy both last year and this year has helped him to get out of it. I’m sure it has helped his creative process, especially writing the score for Zodi et Tehu, but to actually create requires a different energy… and also a bit of peace of mind. (But I am only projecting my own process on him, this could be entirely different for him.) There is a little bit of truth in everything…

    Since this seems to be the latest interview I think he is more up to date on the production process of it all. OR he decided that both albums come out at the same time. Because they are chapters of a story? And maybe it fits to promote both at the same time instead of consecutively? Purely speculating.

    Whenever a tour progresses, the story and the energy of the tour just “blooms”. And also the way he speaks about it, as if it needed to blossom in his heart and mind. It’s poetic to read how he describes it compared to the way I have seen and lived it so far. It very much matches up!

    I won’t be there, but I will be actually (on the opposite side of) Belgium today. To be in the same country as Mika is a rare occasion which I shall celebrate with a toast of terribly good wine (which I will only hold, because I hold drinks - I don’t actually drink them )

He felt so embarrassed, but I think it’s because he doesn’t know how to take compliments and just giggles it away Also, it made me laugh what he said (in both English and Italian) before she started: “I hope it’s not too romantic, otherwise I will feel sick.”

    If the fisherman’s forecast sounded like that I would listen to it every day I believe part of the intro is also a fisherman’s forecast, you’re right. That is new! But what he is especially referencing to in previous gigs (was it Versailles? I will have to rewatch it) is the monotone way he starts signing the song. Like a forecast.

    It is! But I think on the setlist it is written as "New Love Today Intro", what I could see from previous Gig Reviews.

    This song has completely caught my heart since he performed it in Cattolica 2023. It makes me dance and cry at the same time. It’s in my top 3 of live performances. Gosh.

    Aww thanks! I can see myself there I told him I didn’t have anything for him to sign, but that “we were just hanging out here” (we kind of were!) “but it’s a 2 meter drop behind us” and he said “welcome to my life “ So it’s not a 2 meter drop, but to me it certainly looks like it, I’m really really short!
