  1. I leave you girls alone for a few hours and WHAT! No wonder Mika is missing, he is scared and is hiding from the bunch of you
  2. Maybe we can meet in the garden (Giardini Vittorio Emanuele II) that is between the Arena and the theater for a big picknick. There are enough restaurants near to get food and drinks I think. This way it’s open for everyone and we don’t need to worry about a restaurant that can hold an X amount of people. How about that? I will definitely join!
  3. Bonjour Isa, when we have tickets already for Arena di Verona on the 19th, we don’t need to take any action. Confirmation is only needed if you have tickets to any of the other shows and you would like to “convert” your ticket to the Arena di Verona show.
  4. Yes exactly, let’s meet and still spend the time together. I’m not only going to Mika concerts for Mika (gasp!), I come for this magical element before and after.. and I’m sure we can create it even in absence or a concert. (Trust me, we can, I’m the expert remember )
  5. Ohh thanks Deb for posting this! Still very stunned by the news. This is a similar feeling when the shows in Boston and NYC were canceled, but back then we were physically together and had a huge bouquet of flowers to give to the people in Timesquare… It is so very sad, for many reasons. The joy leading up to the event, connecting with friends and spending time together, seeing the show, seeing Mika… It’s like a bubble of immense joy just kind of went “poof” in front of our eyes. Now it all feels like a faraway dream. Fortunately there is Verona, I hope to see many of you there.
  6. I am still somewhat confused what Ticketone and Ticketmaster need to apply for a refund (so far only Rome will be an automatic refund when you bought on Ticketone.it, but I wonder about the other shows as well…). But I think we are all somewhat dazed and confused after the news yesterday. Fortunately we have a few days to sort it out, although I do hope both of them will give an automatic refund to prevent a lot of hassle and confusion amongst the fans for the canceled dates.
  7. Mika: treat me like a yo-yo Mika’s lamp: treat me like a DRUM-OUCH
  8. Well, he did announce the Paris Philharmonic concerts early, too! I guess it’s not necessarily Mikaearly, it’s MikaOVERLYEXCITEDOMGOMGOMG
  9. Haha! I guess I wasn’t far off I can see the MFC like their toast
  10. They are teasing so much, I cannot stand the suspense
  11. It looks too cozy and lived in to be a kitchen that is not used regularly (like in a hotel maybe). Either way I like the lamps, it gives a nice touch (and apparently sound ) to the interior. I think it’s actually adorable he put a napkin on the spoon to not damage the lamp. It was my first thought when I saw it. He can however still NOT come over to my house to smash my lamp: napkin or not!!!!
  12. Relax, Cook It Easy All She Wants (Is Another Toast) Staring at the Stove Undercooked
  13. If he comes at my doorstep I will shoo him away, because our lamp covers are ceramic and I don’t want him to smash them! (Actually, if he will come at my doorstep I will just hide behind the first possible person, which is probably one of my kids… and they are no help, because they are even shorter than me )
  14. I am just going to throw in a wild theory in here: He is currently testing all the kitchen lamps throughout Europe to get the PERFECT sound for the soundtrack he is writing for. Watch out! He may stand on your doorstep with a spoon covered in a napkin!!
  15. Oh I love this song, especially with the choir! Very excited to see they are working together again, whatever the project is, they just sound great together. Little off topic, but with this outfit he looks SO TALL. I know that he is tall (hence I stood next to him on stage, I just didn’t dare look up… there was only a little girl next to me to hide behind ), but optically with his current stage outfit it’s just not that… obvious! I guess!?
  16. Ohhh I truly hope it’s connected!! But why would he go with the 100 voices of gospel and not the Stella Maris choir like at the Paris Philharmonic? (Then again: why didn’t he go with 100 voices of gospel back then? )
  17. I think we need to summon @Priscafirst! Wait; aren’t you the Prisca Whisperer? This might actually work
  18. YES I agree, I really love this part. I already get goosebumps as soon as I see Clement come forward. I really love this addition to the song. Ohhh „I See You“ is my heart song, because I’m just as much a little stalker as the narrator but truly, I almost dare not say it, but if he plays Stuck in the Middle and I See You at a gig I’m attending, I think I am going to be both over the moon AND a sobbing mess And OH! I forgot to mention Promiseland!! I was supposed to be at the NYC gig at the beginning of the tour. I am so sad I missed it, but that was a wonderful surprise to the setlist!!
  19. My theory is that he actually took Anna‘s advice and went into the desert to hang out with some camels! (And to record some more bits for the movie he‘s writing for). I am sure he realized that there weren’t enough camels in his life. And his dreams of camels maybe had a meaning he needed to explore
  20. He did surprise us with Modern Times, Yo-Yo (transforming it into the acoustic beginning as the festivals progressed), Billy Brown, Popular Song, Who‘s Gonna Love Me Now and Tomorrow. Of course they weren’t spontaneous, but there was still a surprise effect 😊 I was actually really hoping for Stuck in the Middle at every show, because he did it at Salle Pleyel (which later turned out to be the stage/light set he toured with this tour). I wasn’t as energetic/giving it more love during the show back then as do now, due to obvious reasons (no I didn’t faint! I just gaped in disbelief, I’m such a fangurl ), maybe I should have!!
  21. I haven’t been on this journey as long as many of you (and I’m afraid you’re not getting rid of me ), but this is exactly how I feel! ❤️
  22. I have seen this clip a couple of times before and I am actually glad you are talking about it. It goes to show how perceptive and also sensitive he is to the reaction of the audience. He is incredibly empathetic, which can energize him, but can also hurt him. But I think this what also makes him feel so alive on stage. We have seen it with our own eyes in London and Carcassonne: his reaction to the fans singing in unison with an incredible power, also the fan actions... He was completely and genuinely in awe. You could see and feel it from anywhere in the audience. When I’m at a concert I want everyone around me to feel as excited and energized as I am. I dance, I sing, I try to infect others with my energy. Why? To be completely in the moment, to share/create communion of spirit and to ultimately give back. …….But I do it mostly because I’m having a f**** good time
  23. *twiddles thumbs and drums fingers* Wonder what he‘s doing. Probably back in the studio after shooting something in Birmingham? Or enjoying the sunny weekend and relaxing ☀️ Although I do not believe Mika has a normal workweek where the weekend is defined as „Saturday and Sunday“
