and the cost of festivals is horrendous.. that's what bugs me, aside people's disappointment for not seeing him (in some cases people has yet to see him for the 1st time, which makes it even worse..).

yeah. I mean I've never seen him. actually, I've never seen anyone live (cuz all the artist (except Mika) that I like are either dead or really really expensive). I wanted Mika to be my first :blush-anim-cl::roftl:

and yeah, festivals are very expensive. I just thought seeing him would be worth the money. I never thought of the fact that he might cancel it :tears:

i feel sorry too

i do agree US is a very important market (i dun live in US)

but i am not implying other countries weak, NO!:wink2:

when u hit US, u hit the world....

he still has a long way to break through US

at least give him a chance for the ppl in US to listen to his music

hey, i mean, Beyonce go there, avril go there, why should he give up that chance?

i think US is a very strange market ....

at least u sing hip hop and R&B music, u will succeed...

he needs more exposure and get more attention on US

see the case of robbie williams?

i also wanna Q that Mika actually did very little on TV promotion in Britain?

but more in France?cos he still doesn't show up on top of the pop:bleh:

plz don't have any hard feeling on Mika

i'm sure he feel guilty about this:roftl:

his schedule really make him crazy

i mean, suddenly every countries need him

it's a good thing

but plz !! try yourself to protect your voice , MIKA! and get more rest

it's just your first year......

and come on , cheer up girls

The gig on his birthday - is it a festival?

Yup, as Yop just said. On the day before he is supposed to play at Lowlands in Holland, but it is still not confirmed and I have my doubts about that one (I don't have a ticket for Lowlands anyway).

He has now a concert in Zurich to make up for his cancellation at St Gallen in Switzerland. I'm pretty sure he's gonna do the same for Northern countries, they are as marketable as anywhere else - but his US target is so important that it seems to have become top priority. And GMA will give him a huge coverage (nearly as big as Oprah would).
