my mom was standing here talking to me, and i showed it to her because she likes that movie. And she goes "but Sarie... people will think you're a lesbian..."

i don't think you're a lesbian, dearie.

heck, i KNOW you're not a lesbian.

at least people don't come up to you and say "thesssssssbian! your a thesbian!" >.<

ROFL. The first time i read that, i thought it said "i don't think you're a lesbian dearie, heck i KNOW you're a lesbian."

I hate the fact that if you're not in a relationship, everyone thinks you're gay.

Nope!

What happened??

ugh, let's just say it's been one helluva night.

the people around here have been bitching that our play is too immoral and raunchy, which it completely is not.

so, today before second hour, my drama teacher comes up and tells me i need to take over this girl's part in my play. she quit today. and it was CLOSING NIGHT!! what kind of retard does that?!?

anyhow, later tonight, we are getting ready, and my director hasn't gotten to the theatre yet, and we're getting worried. he shows up, and looks really really depressed.

we all thought that either he'd been fired, our we wouldn't be putting on the show.

we had to cut out all the "immoral" parts of our play, because the narrow minded people of Preston can't handle it.:sneaky2:

then, here's the kicker, ANOTHER girl left the show.

just left.

and i had to do HER part as well as mine and the other girls's.

i had a really bad panic attack before the show started, and i started bawling.

so all goes well until i had to do lainey's part.

i flubbed it. bad.

i did all my other parts great, just not that one.

i have never been so panicked, scared, and nervous at the same time.

That sucks.

A lot.

A girl quit choir just a few days before a show, so now I am one of two sopranos left in the choir...

So I kind of know the feeling. It's not as stressful as that though. *hugs*

but, it's over now, so i'm good.

i seriously had a horrid panic attack, and that is the worse feeling in the world.

Want me to kill her for you, Hilary?

And what do you mean by 'raunchy'? I know the meaning of the word, but I mean... are you having sex on stage? or what?

yes.

that would make me feel a lot better.

here is what is defined as raunchy by the community of preston:

the word 'hell'

the guy in the play is having an affair, and i had to sit on his lap as his mistress.

the main character is playing a little boy in the beginning, and asks his mother what sex is.

the word 'fag'

the characters go through prepubescence, and notice they have boobs, and muscles, and the main guy is having a gender crises.

well, those are it.

and i'm not kidding you.

You should come and perform it here! Seriously, our school put one on once that would have been rated at least 14a if it were a film (for language and brief sexuality :bleh: ), and there were no age limits.

Sometimes this place is laid-back to the point of worry.
