dcdeb Posted November 28, 2007 Share Posted November 28, 2007 OK, everyone, don't get all hysterical on me... but I just ran across these dates for Mika on pollstar.com Appearing with "V Festival" Australia Sat 03/29/08 Sydney, AUS Centennial Park Sun 03/30/08 Gold Coast, AUS Avica Resort Sat 04/05/08 Melbourne, AUS Melbourne Showground He is also mentioned on the festival's site here: http://vfestival.com.au/site/default.aspx I haven't seen any other confirmation yet, so I'm not going to post them on the calendar yet... and we know how changeable festival shows can be <ahem> But, I thought I would throw these out there just to offer some glimmer of hope... and you can believe that I'm going crazy searching for any news about US/Canada dates as well! dcdeb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have never been to a festival, and am slightly anti the thought of being surrounded by crowds who don't care and are there for other bands, but if that's how I get my Mika dose, then thats how it shall be! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Before mid-February, Mika, we want before mid-February. Has anyone been to V Festival? I've only been to BDO. How many people attend? How many songs are the sets? How long is the queuing? The scariest question of all: is this all that he's going to do here? Is this to placate the Aussies i.e. to fulfill his promise to come back to Oz but not do a proper tour? Fingers crossed. And I have to say, I just looked at the price of the tickets, slightly more than I expected considering. Definately will only be one festival if that. And now here comes the dilemma.
