chickadee
With everything, there will always be people with different opinions.I guess its hard on the Mods and the people starting threads, if there are too many complaints then they have to act. The other site you go to, where your thread is 75+ pages long shows that some places things are tolerated better than others. My 14 year old comes on here as she is a member, but she showed no interest in it at all - in fact "ewww........gross" was her reaction!! So she chooses not to read, which is her way of dealing with it. She has no interest, so she does not read it. I hope things work out ok - but if its making you sad, maybe you can just close it, and save yourself all the hassle. I don't understand the problem. This thread is really not my cup of tea, but as you do state very clearly what it will be about... I will just choose not to read it, there's no gun to anybody's head to do so. It's a problem, actually... since it's my anniversary today and I haven't bought my husband a gift at all, not even a card. Oops. dcdeb HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DEB!! Unless of course it's just ticked over midnight where you are and i've missed it. Then happy anniversary for yesterday. Are you voting, girls? >>>>> His percentage has gone down again! We need to get voting! I found this on one of the other threads - its old - butlike us - its lovely!!!! And recognise the fleece too!!! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bfW8lkAXBsA I love this one. I love anything where he is sitting at the piano playing and then talking to camera. I just.... love him:wub2: Enjoy!!!! Any fit guys going? Are we talking men who work out at the gym or particularly fine looking guys? I think fit means something different in my part of Oz. Oh, that was dangerous... I not only watched that one, but about5 other old ones... I'd seen them all before, but it was interesting to watch them now with the benefit of all this time passed. Saw Lorna getting interviewed in the one -- his outdoor album launch thing. dcdeb Need to find the one with the outdoor launch thing, haven't seen it. Oh and btw... GOOD MORNING!!! chickadee
Damn. Gotta go get the family organised for the day and I'm doing welfare volunteering today so won't even be able to hang around on the board later this morning. Have fun organising all your flights, accomodation, pickups etc. I find it all dizzying, particularly cos I don't know London (or the U.K. for that matter) at all and what you're saying just has no meaning to me whatever.
