Lots of snow overnight so had to cancel lunch date, and cant get in to pick up the children from their Dads. They will have to stay there another night!! We don't have any snow here and we're not *that* far apart. You should make youself a nice hot cup of choco. We are too far out!! The forecast has just issued another severe weather warning - more snow this afternoon from 3 - 10pm. Have over a foot just now - so think I will dig my way to the coal shed, get more coal then get tucked up in front of the fire, with a hot cuppa!! Got 4 bags of coal - but couldn't use wheelbarrow so had to carry it!! The snow was over my wellies in places so feet got soaked too!! Snow is back on - and its heavy!! I'm a bit sad that I'm going to miss whatever festivities happen in here tomorrow -- I'm going to visit my parents for the weekend, as we never saw them at all over the holidays... my aunt from Gt. Yarmouth is visiting my mum now as well, as is my dad's sister and her boyfriend, so it's going to be quite a gathering. Robi will miss them too Had a text from her - her back is very sore, and she will probably have to go to the doctor next week. Wendi has now lost her power unfortunately and her TV areial is down. They have got dreadful blizzards. Poor Wendi. Wendi put a request on the radio tonight...but the silly man cocked it up! He said it was from Kath...to Kath....stupid man...makes it sound as if I was requesting a dedication for myself! How lovely of Wendi though! I was SO chuffed! She said she was snowed in but wanted to say hello to every one on the Mika forum, especially Kath (as she knows I listen to the same radio show). How lovely of her...thanks Wendi...and great to hear MFC mentioned on national radio.....well done Wendi! Poor Robi...I hope she gets home safely and not in too much pain. Dave is dreadful with his back and the doc said it would be a 'few weeks' beofre it was better. I am going to miss tomorrow night too. I might be able to pop in during the day briefly but I am working tomorrow night. Deb, I hope your weekend goes well! I haven't read anything other than this page so I haven't read anyone elses news but hello to you all anyway! It seems amazingthat MFC has only been around for a year actually..it is such a big part of our lives now! Robi is hoping to get home today but her back is still very bad and she is going to see a doc this week to get some drugs. Wendi still has a lot of now but the weather has calmed down thank goodness. Helloooo! did try to post late last night but the MFC was not plying ball atall! Had a fun day with kids ...met with my two other good friends also with mulitples, Jen has triplet girls aged 7 and other Vicki has twins aged 6! so we are 7 kids in total, always makes for a fun day oot! softplay for kids and lots of chat for mums What is the party day everyone in mentioning ? Is this 1 yeasr for MFC? Wendi i hope you get some power soon! We are only half an hour down the road from your or so and all the snow has gone .well little bits, here and there ...!
