AnnaMariaPetra
This morning I went out to put the bin at the street, wearing my wooden shoes/ clogs for a few minutes and this thread-subject came to my mind: I know there are a lot of cliché's about Holland and Dutch people, and there are probably a lot about other countries. I would love to know which country-cliché's you all know.....Please post? This is what (the Dutch think) is told about us: We all wear wooden shoes the whole day, grow lots of tulips, eat heaps of cheese, are stingerly or miserly (don't know if these are correct words, looked them up in a very old dictionary..), are stoned all the time etc etc....
