Good afternoon Oldlings

:furious::sad::badmood:

Just some of the emotions I have gone through this morning!!!

Jamie , my oldest son, has been in New Zealand for 3 weeks.

He was near the airport ready to come home, when someone

broke into the car and stole all his stuff!! His new iphone, ipod,

PSP, new digital camera and more stuff all been taken!! All his

photos from the holiday, plus gifts for everyone - all gone!!!

He has a very long plane journey with nothing to do - and a lot

of anger and depression bubbling inside him!!!

I have lost count of the number of times I have been in tears

this morning!!!!

Oh, Wendi: that is soooo sad:thumbdown: I came in here for a very quick peek and don't have much time to talk but I will do that later today.

This things make me sooo angry:sneaky2:

Hug from Holland:huglove:

oooh wendi!

so sorry to hear about your boy!

makes me sick to my stomache when things like that happen...

at least he still has his ticket to come home and won't be stranded there!:wink2:

do you really think that it is that different here in the states robi?

i am thinking that maybe it's because he is still in "breaking out" mode here- but he has all the new maturity from the last year and so he is more confident...

something to ponder anyway!

i am out the door to do a couple of things for work

just wanted to stop in real quick!:wink2:

Hiya Tootch :wub2:

Hear crime stories everyday - but when its family it

kinda hits home more!! :(

They took his tickets too - but thankfully he had his

passport in his pocket!! They used that to find his

ticket record!!

LA was certainly a great gig - hope the UK get the same

meet and greet chances!! :wink2:

Oh Wendy, thank goodness he had his passport with him! What a whole other mess that would have been!

I am trying to get through the LA reports too. I was supposed to go out today but it is snowing AGAIN so I will hibernate here with my tea. Can someone tell me about Charlotte and VIP? It sounds great! I haven't gotten to that part but I did jump around pages when I started reading. I decided to start again and go page by page.

Thanks!

Charlotte was with Katherine (I hope I got the name right) from

The Butterfly Lounge - so they had VIP tickets!! :thumb_yello:

Oh Wendi, that is such awful news and so difficult for you being so far away. I hope that the insurance pays out..but it is a pain and it is all inconvinience. I hop ehe gets over it soon..at least HE is safe, that is the main thing.

what's going on in the USA?

i'm blown away by the gig reports...every new one is a blast!

and i have a thought....

why all this NEVER happens in europe?

what have we done?

mika?

don't you love US?

debbie knows my thoughts, so pls be sure i do not want to put critics on my USA friends and mika mates....but you will be with me when i say that in the US things roll on in a different way...maybe because of jerry?

we'll see in london....if i'm right or wrong!

i know it will be insane there...

I may be wrong........and I know that Mika does his best wherever he is..but he is still climbing the mountain in the US...so he tries extra hard...maybe?

Hi folks, I'm back after nearly drowning ina pool of drool. Those Grammy pics are just sooooo delicious.

Wendi, I'm so sorry to hear about your sons experience. That must have been so upsetting for him. It's happened to us when we were in the Algarve, all our electrical items etc. Its gutting I can tell you. He wants to make sure the insurance covers for the camera stuff. Alot only cover up to £200. and these days, that doesn't get you much.

We calimed on our house insurance and it covered everything we lost. Great but doesn't take away the disappointment of losing precious memories.

poor boy, I hope he's ok..if a bit sad.

I know he had travel insurance - I just hope his own house

insurance covers him!! He will be so cheesed off when he gets

home - no pictures after a 3 week tour round NZ, and his friends

wedding pictures too!! AND jet-lag!!!

I personally am just glad HE is ok - but I know he will not feel

that way. :(

The Grammy pictures were truly delicious!!!

And the ones from LA last night were cute too :wub2:

OK, I feel all caught up over in the LA thread. It sounded like everyone had a great time. And, the weather was agreeable.

Thats the big worry about the London gigs - the weather in

February can be horrible!! Cold and wet!! As long as it does not

snow - that stops trains here :sneaky2:
