I have to go shortly - my son is in town so am meeting him for a coffee.

He is really busy at University, so I don't get to see him very often.

My girls both have exams - Hazel - 3rd year exams, and Eilidh has her

Highers next month - so its a busy "studying" household at the moment!! :)

*thinks about what Wendi is studying.....*:naughty:

A very quick Hello to my oldlings .....

i'm still busy with study! Had a great weekend but missed the MFC chat!!

also just won tickets...see this!!

Anyone want to join me!!!:wink2:

Hi Vicky,

We'd like to offer you 2 tickets to see Palladium with The Kooks @ The Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Tues 29th April. If you and a friend are still able to make it to the gig and help out with a bit of Palladium promotion on the night, please reply to this email with confirmation. You'd need to be at the venue by 6pm, where you can pick up your tickets. I'll be in touch by phone/text on the day of the gig.

Thanks

Jonny

Yay, VLM is a winner!!!!:punk:

I grasp every moment I can, ...

I wonder if he's an angel. I can feel his energy coming before I even see him in a crowd.

I feel lucky.

I don't know if you can see this or not, but here is a quick vid of him singing and playing guitar around the fire. It's really dark so you can't see much, but you can hear his talent. His real talent though is the flute, of which I have a number of recordings...

Lovely, Crystal, thanks for sharing! Campfire singing and chatter is the best!

The flute music is so mesmerizing, seductive, so '60's!!!!

Oh, I hope Hev did well on her Spanish test, and JB is eating Mika's dust. :naughty: ..that Jemma got all her balloons blown up and doesn't fall off her sexy shoes.... Did Abby get her Gold Star, Silver? Robi, you seem more like your happy self today! :thumb_yello:

Quite a good summary, mamacatt!

hello, good evening everyone.

I was at the UIC Neurology clinic for NINE hours today, I can't possibly post what I truly think of that establishment!! Suffice it to say I'm LIVID!

Bottom line is, this Second Opinion Dr. concurrs with the First Opinion. He, however, would give me the option of not only inserting a bone graft between my vertebrae, but holding it down with a metal plate & screws , so I wouldn't have to wear the collar for 3 months, only 1 1/2. What an option!

Ay Carumba! I already have a few loose screws in my head --that's enough!

Leona - that is a rotten choice. I can't begin to imagine what it

feels like - but I guess you have to go with the one you think will

be best and last longest!!

I am sitting here at 5.30am - not been asleep yet. Have been trying

since 11pm - between restless legs, headache and hip - sleep has not

been possible. The birds are now singing - and I want to go out and

strangle them all!!! I am NOT a morning person!!! :naughty:

we had a gorgeous full moon tonight, huge & orange,

looked like you could grab it & it would be a big sticky tropical fruit!

We didn't have an orange one - but a silver one, and it makes all

the trees look as if they are alive, and waiting to play!!

do you love to stay up late at night in the summertime?

I do! Last summer I'd be out walking till 1 or 2 am sometimes!

one night I was looking at the stars & saw space shuttle go over, really neat.

OK, tummy not growling, I'm going to try to get some sleep.

hope you get some too, Wendi!

I love just sitting in the garden - late at night, enjoying the slightly

warmer temperatures in summer!! :thumb_yello:

Sweet dreams Leona xxxx
