I was at the UIC Neurology clinic for NINE hours today, I can't possibly post what I truly think of that establishment!! Suffice it to say I'm LIVID! Bottom line is, this Second Opinion Dr. concurrs with the First Opinion. He, however, would give me the option of not only inserting a bone graft between my vertebrae, but holding it down with a metal plate & screws , so I wouldn't have to wear the collar for 3 months, only 1 1/2. I do! Last summer I'd be out walking till 1 or 2 am sometimes! one night I was looking at the stars & saw space shuttle go over, really neat.
