Here for a fly-by :plane:

It's freezing cold on this US mother's day.

I need to come up with something SUPER NICE for my mom today because she bought my plane ticket to Florida (first class!) so that I can see my friends in August. I don't make much money, so it was looking like I was going to have to cancel the trip because something unexpected came up. My mother totally saved my bacon! :punk:

HOLY CATS! The sun is shining! I have to go outside and play now! :punk:

(It has been grey for the past six months. I forgot that the sky is blue!)

Sorry to have missed you, Wendi. And Ruth! :(

Just popping in a minute myself to say I was only half right about the

show tickets. :naughty:

They were for Wolftrap, the amphitheater nearby, but not for the '80s

show I thought. But something just as good: for Eric Idle's latest show,

called "NOT the Messiah", based on Handel's Messiah and the Monty

Python movie "Life of Brian."

I guess I'll get to see Eric Idle in person, and that is VERY awesome indeed,

as I am a Monty Python fan since I was about 13! :biggrin2:

AWW,has he written another musical, fantastic!

Have you seen Spamalot? That is SO funny. We took my youngest niece as a surprise for her birthday last year, but missed Tim Currie by 1 day. She's just told me that Alan Dale from Ugly Betty is King Arthur now, so we're talking about getting tickets for it again.

Who is starring in the new musical Deb?

Hey Rose -- saw Spamalot on Broadway a few years ago. All the original

B'way cast *except* Tim Curry, who I adore :( But we saw Simon Russell Beale, who was nearly as good!).

The new show isn't quite a play yet, I don't think -- although I think it

may eventually become one -- as they are calling it an Oratorio. I think

they're putting it on more as just singing/music, but I'm not sure. All I

know for sure is that Eric Idle will be singing. I'm rather excited now,

actually :)

Hi. Good evening.

I've just come back from the pictures.

Has anyone seen In Bruges?

We went with the friends who went with us to Paris this February, to Bruges in Feb 2007, and there were Christmas trees and lights everywhere because they were filming this film. So we've been together to the pictures.

It was hysterical. The language is a-w-f-u-l! It's really funny.

Hi Rose, hows things, them horrible sisters made me listen to Fadabadozee at full volume for hours, they looked like cinderellas' sisters, not exactly good looking, they thought if they kidnapped me Mika would win more awards.

But here I am, still fit, even if my tan faded whilst in the darkened room, but that is getting better, them sisters use a feather duster but I had to tell them there were no cobwebs under my kilt, but they didn't listen, I think they took some pleasure from it, then they made me sit on an ice block, that made no difference to me, all I want now is to complete my therapy and try to lead a normal life, so I dont want other mfcers complaining life is tough, the wicked sisters are as likely to kidnap them.
