..He has an amazing voice! And he is doing everyting in his own way, and that makes him admirable.

I also like him because of his lyrics, they are really.. The lyrics is "speaking" too me.

Everyone on this site should understand exactly what I mean by the "Mika Magic". But I still think people should absolutely be able to air their concerns and Mika/his team should listen & learn.

Quite right...that's why I added that option.

 

I have, myself, expressed my own strong opinions on this site on more than one occassion!!

 

I just felt like having somewhere that wasn't about other people or critisisms or sacrasm....just about all the good stuff.

 

I know it's hard for those who are new or far away and haven't seen him live, etc....yet, but it is nice to be able to share some amazing memories with others who have already experienced his shows or even his company.

 

I don't want to rub anyone else's nose in it but I do want to have a bit of a gush about all the great things that have happened becuase there are soooo many of them.

I'm sure once people start talking about the upcoming gigs I'll be swooning and suffering heart palpitations once more. Yes when there is a thread started expressly for the purpose of celebrating an event or sharing memories I don't think it's cool to rain on other people's parade because of envy or not particularly feeling the Mika love at that moment.

 

Same as I don't think people should go into a constructive criticism thread and try to silence everyone because they think a fan club is all about showering the artist with unconditional love.

I love it because he looks like a rock star. It captures the atmosphere of the night perfectly. Everyone at the gig was practically climbing on top of each other to get as close to Mika as they possibly could. To reach out to him. And you can feel it in this photo.

I love Mika because...

 

His music makes me happy, his voice sends shivers down my spine... When he smiles I smile... His concerts are electric... the best I've ever been too...

He's intelligent, articulate and in interviews I'm always interested in what he has to say...

Basically since I discovered him, he's bought rainbow colours/lollipops/balloons and confetti into my life.. and he makes me feel like a teenager again...

I've only ever been to one Mika gig... I only really got into him in January even though I've been listening to him since Feb 07.... I'd only liked him for a few weeks when I saw him... not even as huge a fan as I am now... but inspired by you lot ... I made him some gifts and bought him some stuff too, which is not like me... I was 33 then .... I don't give stuff to Famous People.

 

When I met him after the show and gave him my stuff... I didn't take any photo's or video him or anything... just remember him grinning as I tried to remind myself how to talk to explain what was in the bag...

I think Mellody took that pic. I had never noticed the ring on his hand until he wore it a couple of weeks ago. Maybe that was the night he got engaged.

 

I was standing somewhere behind you because there is an uncropped version of this pic and someone has an envelope in their hand that I had just passed up. The crowd was mad that night. I couldn't get anywhere near him.

At the beginning everyone thought he was going to be on the other side, so clamoured their way over there.

I stayed where I was.

When it became obvious he was coming out on the side I was on, cue pushing and shoving again. Result - those of us already on that side pushed to the back.

No please do... I went the other side as well... stood there for awhile as I didn't realise he'd got out the other side... eventually went round the other side... nearly fell over two massive bags on the floor (still have no idea who's they were ) ended up just abit near him and was just lucky that I said his name in a bit of a lull in all that madness - cos' he heard me... :eek:

 

Gave him my stuff - and moved away... as I said I never took a pic or anything... didn't want to bother him too much... as we'd been told he wouldn't be signing anything/or staying or getting out of car even lol... so that was my 20 - 30 odd seconds
