Fallait-il espérer autre chose qu'un exceptionnel show, de la part de celui qui a mis du soleil dans la pop music, et un grand ciel bleu au dessus de la variété internationale? Dans le petit monde merveilleux de Mika, les chanteurs bondissent aux quatre coins de la scène, tendent les mains vers le public et s'habillent avec les fripes "flower power" de papa, retrouvées dans le grenier. Pas l'idéal au quotidien, mais terrible pour briller aux yeux de 25 000 personnes serrées comme des sardines au bord du lac. Sous une pluie battante, la vision de cette joie de vivre scénique pousse inévitablement à l'émergence dans le public d'une nouvelle échelle des valeurs. Je suis transi de froid? Pas grave. Je patauge dans la boue? Et alors? L'important, c'est l'intensité du moment. Et celui-là, aux dires des habitués du festival aixois, n'est pas loin d'avoir été le plus accompli en la matière depuis les débuts de Musilac. Un festival qui a, certes, manqué d'un peu de soleil cette année. Comment ça? Il était sur scène samedi! L. F. (thanks to Marina for the help in translation) - 10:38 a.m. = sound - track (only listening, however) - 11:30 a.m. = opening of the gates - Hallo to Mr.John on the tour bus getting out the parking - queueing in front of the first barriers till noon - 12:00 = entrance and tickets control, then queue before to other barriers - 4:00 p.m. = opening of the barriers and unbridled run to reach the first line in front of the stage. Then long waiting started. - Around 5:00 p.m. starts raining and doesn't stop anymore. Beautiful moment at about 7:00 p.m. with the Ben's Brother music....then again rain while waiting for MIKA! - 11:45 p.m. = the long awaited moment arrives! RED BEAUTY in action! It keeps on raining heavily, but we don't notice it...." Bonsoir Aix les Bains"....then Relax, Big Girl, My Interpretation, I just can't get enough, Stuck in the Middle, Holy Johnny, Happy Ending, Any other world, Love today, Grace Kelly, Lollipop flow....and then a great surprise...Grace Kelly in French and Relax encore - 1:15 a.m. = end of the concert - one behind the other and attached as a toy-train we slowly go toward the exit.... many people around us and the meadow looks like a sea of mud. Finally out: we stop there in front of the parking bus and we stand under an authentic flood waiting hopeful. - 3:10 a.m. about = when we are about to lose all our hopes, the tour-bus slowly comes out - Mr.John is next to the driver - the bus stops: Mr.John gets down and beckon us to get closer....after a few seconds MIKA too gets down and comes smiling among us ! We are only twelve, we are completely wet and we surely have a horrendous aspect....on the contrary MIKA is perfect in his grey hooded plush. He gives a few minutes to each of us, signs autographs, talks to us as an old friend. Then he asks us if we want to take a photo all together.... what could we expect more? - Then....bye,bye: MIKA gets on the bus and goes away. We go back to hotel and finally we can dry ourselves there ! Thank you, MIKA! You're special, really special! We love you....I love you....forever ! you are the best thing that could have happened to me ! Dani, thank you so much for yr detailed and warm report! (wow in English! Congrats!) Love yr pics, too!
