There are programs for salle to change the regions on pc dvd players as many times you like. AKateisaKate Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 I'm using Macintosh Notebook and there is a way to play all Regions, but it comes with a catch or two (duh!). 1. When you insert a DVD the first time, it automatically sets the Region in the application "DVD Player." 2. When you insert a different-regioned DVD, a dialog will come up to change the region of "DVD Player." Easy peasy! 3. HOWEVER, you can only change (or change back) the region of "DVD Player" 5 times EVER. So it's not really a good idea to switch back and forth. ...I'll probably just wait until I can find an NTSC. Some DVD Players also have hacks you can research online to hack region compatibility but I do not recommend that in case it screws up your DVD player. So don't sue me! Cause I found one on amazon but it was like 45 bucks!! Was it being sold by Amazon, or an outside vendor, K? As of now, the only Mika DVD you can preorder through Amazon is the standard version. Mika's management has hinted to us that they might be able to get some deluxe copies and offer them for sale in the US (but I'm not sure if through Amazon or mikasounds store or what...) and they asked what the level of interest in the deluxe version would be here. That's why I set up the poll. I think that if we can get them in the US it would be great since we wouldn't have to deal with overseas shipping fees, the exchange rate, and the longer wait... Unfortunately, the answer is no to both questions. I really don't understand the delay. And I asked Mika's management again yesterday about the deluxe edition, but haven't heard anything yet.
