dcdeb Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Hey there, For all of you in North America, particularly in the United States -- as you may have seen, Amazon has changed the release date for Mika's new DVD to December 16. As you also might have seen, the DVD they will be selling is the Standard version, not the Deluxe version with special packaging that is available in UK and Europe. Here's my poll question... If you had the chance to purchase the Deluxe version of the DVD, would you? I'm not sure what the price difference would be, but I know I was disappointed that I couldn't get the Live in Cartoon Motion DVD in the Deluxe packaging... it would be nice to have this one in the spiffier version Please only answer the poll if you're in North America, especially if you're in the US. allegra Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 forgive me Deb... i did not read well and i voted... but i already have my european deluxe version but, for repair my mistake, if the USA version will be different i will buy also it i dont know the situation in Europe.... but i'm worried for Italy... shop bought so few copies.. not as the old dvd... no publicity, no promotion.... for example in Milan there were just 2 copies of the deluxe version in all the most important shop of the city... there are normal copies, of course, but so few quantity... i'm starting to think to rent a plane and put promotional little papers in the sky (sorry i dont know the tecnical word) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AKateisaKate Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 If we have to wait this long (on such short notice especially, after we've been so excited to get it TODAY for so long), I think we'd deserve some deluxe treatment- not just passed off with the regular little version. I'd hope we'd get something worth the extra long 5 week wait! Or at least have the option! Plus- we're the MFC... If they made the deluxe packaging very limited, we'd so be up for it first! That would be mine :naughty: On the PDP DVD, I really don't understand that they have decided to not offer the Deluxe in the US. How silly is that? Nothing at all! If I google the dvd there only comes up one site who sells it. That is the first one I get and after that it's a dutch fanclub that comes up 2 or 3 times where they are talking about it and that's it.
