It's in "Rooms without Windows" 11 Sep 08 Speaking of things I liked, I saw Somers Town last week and I loved it. Thomas Turgoose (the actor from This is England) plays a kid who runs away from his home in Nottingham to escape his family. He bumps into and makes friends with a Polish boy and this close friendship blossoms. It focuses on how these boys emotionally survive in London in the absence of their parents. I mean I was when I was a kid, but I grew out of it and don't really have any desire to go back to it. OK- he likes movies about kids and blogs about them- Valentin, Somers Town, Cinema Paradiso and now Coraline. And cartoons and kids books. Ok. Fair nuff- it's his blog. But it seems odd, even a bit fakey, that he's never enthused about anything outside of this "official" character. I'm in a weird mood tonight Consistent indeed.
