I was dreaming of hearing this song in a gig since the first time i listened to LICM and this live performance was so beautiful, so special:wub2: For the next two songs, which were BG and LT, the crowd went mad, singing, clapping, dancing. You could see that people were enjoying themselves to the fullest. Before BG Mika and the band were running around the stage holding silver umbrellas and throwing confetti. Hope someone has that on video:biggrin2: BIOTG was another strong wonderful performance. Then Mika introduced the band members and talked about how Ida sung at the demo version of HE, which was the next song that they played. I've always loved listening to HE live and this was definitely one of the best performances so far. Lollipop was supposed to be the last song but of course Mika came back for an encore and played GK in french (french suits this song so well in my opinion), Lonely Alcoholic and Rain (i thought i'd always prefer the PDP version but the now i love the new one much more:wub2:). Next song was Relax which started as this beautiful acoustic song and then became the energetic amazing relax that used to open the gigs during the last tour. At the end of the song there was a stage invasion and we all thought that it was the end of the gig. mari62 Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Arrived home yesterday and now i can properly write a report. Both gigs in Paris were ablsolutely amazing! I enjoyed them even more than the westerpark concert last year and given the fact that i loved westerpark so much that says a lot Cirque d'hiver is a very impressive venue, a real, very beautiful circus. The first song was Grace Kelly and the moment the first notes were played everyone stood up and started clapping their hands. People were singing and clapping through the whole song. The concert had started in a very energetic way. Listening to Lady Jane live was one of the highlights of the gig for me! It is my fave track on the EP and i cant properly describe how much i love this song:wub2: its live version was even better than the studio one and to say that Mika's voice sounded amazing is an understatement. Next song was SITM and everyone stood up again clapping their hands and singing. Then it was time for Blue Eyes to be played and i have to say that each time i listen to this song i love it even more! It was a real treat to be able to hear it live! Now what can i say about the celeste version of Toy Boy!! It was magical, the sound of the celeste suits the song perfectly! Then he played Billy Brown with everyone singing along once again and then it was Good Gone Girl's turn.
