And I think that's one reason it's far and away his best known song. Rain also picks up my mood- the depression of Rain and Rain and Rain and Rain Rain Rain, with the occasional flare of "I hate days like this" (Incidentally some of my family/friends who've seen him on Children in Need etc have suggested that you can only pick that up if you hear the song, like we did, before you see him perform it- Might explain the mystery of why so many of us really liked it n thought it would be a hit, yet it didn't sell in the UK).
