Sabine64
I just looked, it's separate from them, and I looked at prices for other artists, James Morrison:38 euros, Gossip:28.50 euros, PSBs:44-51 euros, so should be interesting to see the price on Monday. I would be so happy to see you again in Vienna. I´ll be there with my friends Faballa ( ulrike) and Vonnic. Looking forward to that date!

Looking forward to that date! I may be staying with Ulrike, she invited me last night, if I was definitely going. And she said you were going and I told her that would probably swing it for me:thumb_yello:
Marianne84
Is it a European chain then? I'm actually totally 100% going now. I did wonder if I'd chicken out on Monday morning but there's no way I'm not going, especially as the venue is 2-3000, that's brilliant. I've totally fallen in love with smaller gigs lately, ever since Sadler's Wells. GAH! The venue holds 2000-3000. It's a beautiful city. I have never been there before. It's a home to many great classical compositions and the cake Sacher. Yeah, I'm definitely going! I grew up listening to classical music, and this is my favourite composition ever: An der Schönen Blauen Donau http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJgxSw199QU Edited September 27, 2009 by Marianne84
Marianne84
Most of the hotel rooms seem to be for one or two people. I need a room for three as my parents are going as well. I brainwashed them to go to the gig too. What's the address of the concert venue? I found a hotel worth thinking about but I've no idea if it's close to the concert venue... http://www.hotels.co.uk/hotel/details.html?roomno=1&departureDate=30-03-2010&destinationId=39254&rooms[0].numberOfAdults=3&tab=prices&arrivalDate=27-03-2010&hotelId=120334&destination=Vienna%2C+Austria#description This is a bit cheaper and they have apartments at the same price as rooms: http://www.hotels.co.uk/hotel/details.html?roomno=1&departureDate=30-03-2010&destinationId=39254&rooms[0].numberOfAdults=3&tab=prices&arrivalDate=27-03-2010&hotelId=258276&destination=Vienna%2C+Austria Edited September 27, 2009 by Marianne84

Marianne84
Ooh, thanks! So it's where I thought it would be and the last hotel/apartment I found could be what I'm looking for. It's quite close to the gig place. Edited September 27, 2009 by Marianne84

Well, for me on my lonesome, I don't know about 3 people, but probably worth a look.

ROSE! you're coming too! Awesome! I have my heart in my throat...I am so nervous about the tickets price! I'm quite concerned to be honest. But let's just presume that it is a small venue, it is a fan-only presale so perhaps we'll get a discount. And c'mon he can't be raising the prices that high all of the sudden...can he? Well, for me on my lonesome, I don't know about 3 people, but probably worth a look. That would mean one single room and one double room = over 300 euros. It's too expensive. If I book in that Allegro hotel it will be less than 200 euros for three nights. It's not as close though but not overpriced either.

Huny, in that hotel, they have 3 beds in one room and it won;t cost you 300 euros. It'll be like 60 euros/night and if you're staying for 3 nights only it'll be less than 200 euros! I've been in Paris in the same kind of hotel with my parents too and everything was fine. Anyway...just wanted to tell you that they're good cheap hotels! Marianne84
Oh, I just found this info: "Etap Hotel - the smart traveller's choice! Our modern, comfortable room can accommodate up to 3 people (in most countries), with a shower, toilet, and satellite TV, all for a very low price. And the next day you help yourself at our good for value breakfast buffet!" In most countries. Perhaps I will send them an email and ask if this applies to their hotel as well. The location of the hotel looks great!
Jazzy
I think the prices will be between 40-50 Euros Really? I don't really have much experience with european ticket prices, but over here it usually costs about £25, which is 30ish Euros, I think. 40 - 50 does seem quite a lot. I've got the ones for Paris in June at 40 euros (which were the most expensive of the whole tour) and it wasn;t much at all! Because they were first class seats...I had even my own loge and for the Kylie Minogue gig I attended in 2008 in Bucharest the ticket was around 60 euros and it wasn;t a front row: tribunes somewhere on the side. I had forgotten my glasses and I could barely see anything... so..I tell you it is just fine for me! And my concern is bound to what I've heard about Jason Mraz's American tour this summer that the prices were over 100$...
Marianne84
I took a look at the main website of this hotel chain and it looks like the rooms in this particular hotel only accommodate 1 or 2 people. They don't have a third bed, so I have to keep looking. Edited September 27, 2009 by Marianne84

I don't imagine Mika will be over 50 Euros, especially as it's a general admission gig and so there's not an issue of this seat or that seat being pricier. I hope anyway. As I could see (well mostly guess) there will be some tribunes on the sides too, I mean you can't really squash 8000 people in a no-seat venue...I'm really curious how the purchase will go like... I'll get the lawn tix anyway! By the way, do we have any pics of the music hall of this venue? Beacuse I couldn't find any...

Jazzy
For this one? I knew it was 8000 Hey, who cares? as long as we're among those? But it says 2000-3000 on wikipedia, that's why I was looking forward to going to much because 3000 is relatively small. 8000 is less so...
