silver Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Yahoo have recommended Rain as a track to listen to MIKA once had a tendency to act the cartoonish oaf, too, but after a summer spent touring an acoustic, pared-down stage-show round the festivals he's grasped the idea of subtlety and no longer relies on just winking and clicking his heels. In fact, "RAIN" is positively melancholic in comparison to his last garish collection and sees him admitting he hates "days like this" to a muted, gently euphoric disco-backing that shows the Scissor Sisters just where they went wrong after their first album.
