What about Russian? It`s as hard as Japanese, so come on, here`s a challenge for the brave ones!

 

 

You can start from most important words of politeness:

 

 

hi - privet ( informal, "pri'vet")

 

good morning - dobroye utro ['dobroye ['utro]

 

thank you - spasibo [spa'sibo]

 

bye, goodbye - do svidaniya [do svi'daniya]

oh , that`s cool !

 

I started to learn Afrikaans as a second language ( after English), but gave up and "jumped" into comparative linguistics... Now I don`t remember a single word, alas(((

 

What`s the Afrikaans for "I love you"?
