I have noticed that mika under the shirt has a black band that covers the stomach... Look these: Very strange.... Yeah, I know But it was not that I thought like: hey, what's that black thingie? I just can't remember seeing it, so it must be nothing special But maybe we'll see in the vids yes, if I ever get them online Isn't it maybe some band or belt where he sticks that sound mic thingie who was always falling from his skinnies before? I love, love, MFCer-with-Mika group pics. I find a big comfort in hearing that I’m not the only one smiling at some little pieces of paper!Who else would understand that than the people in here????? By far not the only one. I keep mine in a vase. It's such a silly little thing, but it makes me go all Aww! I love, love the shots where he's looking right at you! He looks so damn happy. Isn't it maybe some band or belt where he sticks that sound mic thingie who was always falling from his skinnies before? I wouldn't think Mika would wear/need a corsette... That's what I thought too, something to do with the audio system. Then again, he was eating carrots for breakfast apparently, so maybe he's got a few pounds to lose. It was one of the best days ever and it’s hard to find the words to describe it … especially in English. But I'll try ... At 12 am Droopsy and I arrived in Brussels at the Plaza hotel. There were only 5 people waiting. When we arrived we already saw John coming out of the van. A bit later the band came out of the hotel ... Dan ... but without Mika. The queuing went very smooth … The weather was fine, we could go to the bathroom and go and get food, but most of all it was amazing to meet so many nice people. Everyone was so nice It was very cozy. Mamsie brought champagne ... so everyone was even more in the mood. I still wasn’t sure the tickets I’ve got would work (because the mails with the codes were in the wrong names). But we talked to John and he worked it all out for us … Thank you John!!! When I knew everyone would get in ok, I was relaxed … but still excited to see Mika. Just before we went in, Dan came be and took a pic of us. We waved at him and he waved back … he’s such a cutie . We were the first ones to enter the theatre. So we could stand right in front of the piano. I was standing next to Droopsy. There were no barriers between the audience and Mika … so we were very very close … When we got in, we had to wait for two more hours. Thanks to the good company times flew by. At 9 pm he came up. He looked amazing … happy and not tired at all!!! He spoke Dutch again … so cute! He made eye-contact with the audience a lot (with me too ). The crowd went wild and you could see how he was enjoying himself. I was a bit afraid that he would be a bit nervous because it was all filmed, but I couldn’t been further from the trued. He interacted very much with the audience … and he was completely himself, hyper, enthusiastic, funny … and unbelievable hot! Although the stage wasn’t big, he jumped and danced around a lot. He did Grace Kelly, Stuck in the Middle, Big Girls, Blue Eyes, Love Today, Happy Ending, Billy Brown, Blame it on the Girls, Rain, WAG, Lollipop, Grace Kelly in French, Relax … He started Relax slow, but the audience start clapping faster and faster … he laughed and started the normal version. He talked A LOT between his songs and screwed up a lot of Dutch words (we helped him ofcourse) … He said that the gig – instead of promo – helped him t know why he’s doing it all I love that guy ... When he got of stage, the crowed made a lot of noise and he came back out a couple of times. After the gig we looked for John to ask him where Mika would come out. He was so sweet and told us to wait in front of the building. After an hour or so, he came out (we already knew, because he tweeted it … BTW it was so nice what he tweeted about the gig). I thanked John again for everything … he’s the best. Mika looked very relaxed and chatty. He took his time. I was standing with Bienie and Marleen. Marleen asked him about his hair and why he didn’t play Toyboy (see the vid of Bienie … thanks again Bienie ). Then he came to me. I was soooo nervous to talk to him. I gave him me present and the card I made for his birthday. He said he was very happy with it. Then he signed the pic that’s in my signature. He made the drawing with the little heart with wings . Then I told him that I’ve got a lot of MFC’ers in … Marleen asked him to give me a hug instead in their place to thanks me. He first asked me how I did it and then he hugged me … I had such a fangirl-moment … I have butterflies all over again while writing about it . C@rin@ asked him to take a group pic with the MFC and he said yes. We all waited at the end of the queue, but he forgot (that's our Mika) … with all the adrenaline of the whole day, I putted all my shyness apart and asked him again. He said ok and told me to come over. I could stand next to him and he putted his arm around me (again a major fangirl-moment ). We were standing there for a little while because the security made it difficult for some of us the get there. But Mika was telling it was ok. After the pic I thanked him and told him “See you in Oakland”. He reacted very surprised. I explained I’ll be there on holiday. Then he left. I still can’t believe how lucky I was that day. I even feel a little bit embarassed about having so much luck . It was a day I will never forget and not only because of Mika … I’m so happy to be a fan of such a great guy and to be surrounded by so many other great fans!
