It's an interview that's a mix of both English and French -- maybe someone could help translate the French bit? Please? :flowers2:

Sightly sad that those rockets hit Beirut probably around the time he was saying this. But...

I can't do a full translation, but indeed there's not too much news in there.

He talks about how his albums represent different parts of his life, like a private diary, and as far as I understand also says that's why they take a while to make.

Then he talks about singing EMD on stage and at first not getting any reaction.

Then there's a bit that someone perhaps would care to translate in more detail, or at least check my translation, because he says something about how you need freedom for culture and music.

I think that in music and culture, we find total freedom. That's certain, we find tolerance and freedom. Culture without freedom doesn't exist. Music without freedom doesn't exist. It becomes a horrible thing. And that's why it is important to have ??? like that/this.

I think this is what he says, and I really like it, but then it's in French, so it's very well possible I misunderstood...

If it's what he said, then it's really beautiful,as a person living in a dictatory I can understand exactly what he means.

One thing is DEFINITE.

He said that the new album will HOPEFULLY be ready next year, so I think by that we can take that it probably may not be.

:aah: When he says before the end of the year, it means that it's gonna be next year. If he says that it's gonna be ready next year, maybe we'll have this new album for 2015. :mf_rosetinted: Hopefully.

A REVIEW of the show and press conference @ Festival Mawazine 2013

http://www.lematin.ma/express/-Mika-a-OLM-Souissi-_Le-show-2013-different-de-celui-de-2010-/182742.html
