he said in some interviews before that he has shoes that shoot sparks if he kicks his heels together. well, it certainly wasn't the white converse shoes he was wearing at the beginning of the show. poor mika, all that work with his exploding shoes, and you guys didn't even notice! nah, no idea if he really used them, maybe he already broke them. and nevermind about your videos - just post them! the songs we haven't seen anything of yet are billy brown (only a photo), good gone girl (if he sang it) and dr john. edit: just found a little snippet of dr john - just about 30 seconds though, nothing spectacular: edit: a short video of a backstage meet+greet, very dark though, you can hardly see anything, just hear a few words of what mika's saying.

um yes, think so... the one where he shows the stage set for his show. is there another current french documentary?

is it only from 18 years where you live?! in germany it's from 16 years. ha, we're tough. well ok not me, but obviously germans in general, if they allow it from 16 instead of 18.

in the french documentary at one point mika holds up a blue dress/skirt with glittery planets on it, and they say something about princesses and dragons (think it's also the point where they show the dragon )

thanx for all the reports, pix and videos!! and fab to hear that you had a brilliant time wonka and that M didn't kick your ass (see, i told you! ;-P)! *g* so some of my questions have been answered by the videos... the dragon comes on for touches you (it looks fab!! ), but unfortunately there's no silhouette dancing. :-( so what i'd still like to know now, a) does anyone have a complete setlist, in order? especially i'm wondering after which song he does rain... and it looks like there are not many songs after the book is revealed - is it less than half the show? are there still several pages falling down, or is it just one page and behind that the skulls? ok sorry that was more than one question... b) that blue princess dress he showed in the documentary, is it somewhere in the show (and if yes, where)? any pix/videos of that? thanx. :-) about the dragon, i think maybe the stage was too small for adding a body to it... maybe they'll only have it for the really huge stages (paris?). why it is there... hm, maybe representing a "monster", because it kinda "eats" mika - as the song is about jealousy, it might represent jealousy eating him up? and that thing with the fire also sounds plausible, maybe that's why it's a dragon and not some other monster. :-) the intro... wow! it looks so realistic how he's floating through space! and the intro part with the band and the tv thing is also lots better than on the US tour - there it was hard to see what was on that tv, and a bit hard to understand that mika was in that spaceship - but now it's totally clear (and btw i LOVE those pictures of him they show there, he looks awesome! ). generally - and that's one of the 2 negative things to me about this new show - it's all starting to become a bit too macabre... that spaceship thing, ok... and the day of the dead march and even the cementery if it needs to be (it does look good with that tree...) ... but him killing his band and himself during LT, um... is that really necessary? i don't like that part. and the 2nd thing i don't like is that some bits are choreographed now. there already were a few bits in the last version of the show, but it's becoming more+more, like that dance during rain... i really prefer mika's own style of dancing and moving to anything choreographed. it might not bother me when i see the show live, but in the videos i noticed it, and didn't like it. i just hope it doesn't become more, would hate to see a fully choreographed show! but back to the things i LOVE (there are definitely enough of them!! ) - mika's neon outfit (wonder if he just went crazy with a spraying can on that vest, lol!! but it looks georgeous!) ... the LT intro with the tree and the snow ... the idea with that hole in the suitcase so all of those things coming out of it - especially with that big girl moaning and throwing the pizza boxes on stage! ... of course the whole stage set, so happy that the planets + blacklight are back! ... that new rain intro - such a fantastic effect when he holds up the book and the curtain falls! the way i interpret it, the part with that guy with the pig mask who takes away the book from M and then catches him + carries him off stage refers to the fact that it's a voodoo book - so the moment mika has the book, he has control over his own life, but when it gets taken away from him, someone else takes control.

nope, don't think it's the lighting... i'm quite sure they're the cameras for the 2 video screens - someone has to film what is shown on that screens, right?

aww so sorry for you. if it helped you anything, i could offer to drive you (in your own car, as i don't have one...), but guess it wouldn't be fun for you if it's so painful. get well soon!

yay, finally some reports! still no one has answered my questions yet about the dragon + princess + touches you but will look on the madrid thread now, maybe some of the answers are on there. in that i see you video i noticed that there were cameras (guess for the video screens), wonder if they were blocking people's view, for the front rows? i think it can be quite annoying to have a camera there in front of you all the time... what was it like for those who were there?

grmpf, hotels are too expensive and that camping place which would be cheap enough is so far outside the city that i fear i won't be able to get there by public transport after the show. plus, it doesn't really have the best reviews either... :rolls_eyes: not sure if i like the alternative of hanging around at the station all night (first train at 6:25, and that'd leave me no time for sightseeing... except during the night, lol! ). and if i don't wanna have the same problem with the first night, it means i'd only arrive in milan around 15:30 (so venue 16-16:30, which could be a bit late for being at the front...). looked easier on the first view this afternoon, sigh. so it's very likely that it's gonna be a "no" for me after all. it would've been nice to see the show with him talking english first and generally to be in milan (italy! ) and to meet the lovely italian mfcers again... but well, it's certainly not a tragedy if it doesn't happen, i have enough other gigs coming up. (still, a little bit "sigh!" )

i prefer blue on him. not a big fan of stripes in general, but that blue striped shirt is ok.

i guess i'm the only one who doesn't like it.

we already managed to fill 12 pages without their input... luckily there's some people uploading videos - so if the mfcers keep being that lazy, we'll have seen the whole show on youtube until they get posting. ok, so let's sum it up; start of the show, astronaut suit, flying, music from zarathustra theme (like in the US). then he probably disappears down that planet to get changed, while the band starts playing relax ... then big girl, sitm, any other world, maybe oms & more? and at some point, which might be for "rain", the star curtain falls down and we get what used to be the intro on the european tour so far. setlist basically the same, except that relax is in the beginning now and rain somewhere in between. and maybe some more songs switched places... mika seems not to be on stage for the LT intro, maybe he gets changed ... lots more characters on stage than just the 4 LGs and up to 10 BGs - some animals from what i saw, so i guess there's more chances for fans to take part, if they're looking for more people. now, wasn't that a fab report for the fact that i haven't even been there?! wonder how much i got right. but pretty sure that the curtain falls before rain, that would make sense. now i'm wondering at which point the dragon and the blue princess dress are included in the show... maybe for GGG? AND i wanna know about touches you, whether he did that silhouette dance. *waits for reports, or, more likely, more youtube videos*

i haven't booked, but just looked, after you posted. after checking for availability it said >10 places in liegewagen, 6 places in schlafwagen and 1 or 2 places somewhere else (schlafwagen für weniger personen?). anyway, just try, it can't do more than tell you that booking isn't possible.

maybe they were lying at the counter... or maybe they have a special online contingent which they don't sell at the counter? i'd just book it online and be there early to claim my place.

i know, i've been there for the acoustic tour last year. maybe should try to see more of the city this time than just the dome.

huh, where did you look? i just checked on oebb.at, and for example there's a night train with available places from 119 euro, going from the 20th 19:30 to the 21st 8:25.

can't you take a ferry or train or something? so sorry for you! i haven't decided yet for sure whether to go or not, probably will decide some time before midnight today, but gotta figure out some stuff first... anyway, sarina already offered me her spare sandbag ticket in case i'll need one, but thanx for the offer. what you could do though, ask someone who's definitely going whether they can pick up your ticket and try to sell it at the venue, then maybe you'll get at least a bit of your money back - that's what i did with avoca's ticket for munich. or if i'm going (once i made up my mind ), i could try as well, though i guess it'd better be someone who speaks italian.
