  1. no idea, but sandbag is slow for all the gigs, not just for germany. i think it might be for logistical reasons, probably easier for them if they order all the tickets they need from the event company in one package, after they got all the orders. anyway, the official german ticket website is http://www.eventim.de - they have some shipping/handling costs, think 5 or 6 euro per order, but the ticket prices are the regular ones.
  2. well, we don't have them yet, so i'd hope they send us valid ones... from what i understand, it's only tickets bought from one of those websites: 24hourtickets.nl, 4alltickets.nl, Easytickets.eu, ltaticketservice.nl, Pepetickets.nl, QQ-tickets.nl, Ticketunlimited.nl, Ticketforsale.nl, Tickets123.nl, Ticketsnederland.nl, Tickets4u.nl, Worldwideticketshop.nl
  3. definitely isn't. even if it's not 4.200 but 2.800 people like jazzy said, still the relocated venues in germany are smaller than this. wiesbaden, hamburg, berlin & stuttgart all have less than 2.000.
  4. he's wearing a bogner hat. those things are incredibly expensive, i don't think he needs to rob a bank!
  5. according to their website, it has a capacity of 4.200 people, doesn't sound that small to me.
  6. that's no news. but i'll just see it as the replacement for the cancelled 2nd dublin gig. or for leipzig. thanx for agreeing on being my translator. he said lots of different stuff on the tour so far, while talking with his toy boy puppet... and he might make some hilarious comments because it's the last gig of the tour. but maybe i should just learn some french until then. gotta listen to videos of all of his french gigs, and have someone translate for me what he says there, then maybe after a while i'll be able to figure out more of what he's saying in french. that's actually the only way i can learn a language really well, swotting vocabulary and grammar just doesn't do it for me. hmm, droopsy & bienie & katrien will be at both gigs too - do you guys know yet how you'll get there? the only cheap way i figured out so far is a train to trier for 39 euro, which leaves amsterdam at 7 am, and from trier there are hourly trains to luxemburg for 15,60 euro. so it'd be 54,60 euro altogether, and i'd arrive in luxemburg at about 2 pm. doesn't really sound ideal, but like i said, it's the only way i could figure out so far, for which the price seems ok. the bahn.de website doesn't give me prices for other connections, because it's not a connection between german cities. oh, and then there's an option where you'd sit around in the middle of nowhere for 4 hours during the night. not too keen on that.
  7. someone born with ridiculously good looks and personality, and who is TOTALLY mittens and doesn't realise it!! maybe that's the kind of jammy dodger mika meant.
  8. ah thanx. - damn, so i won't understand a word again! aren't the official languages luxembourgish, french AND german?! anyway that's what wikipedia says. mariposa, i'll stand next to you so you can be my translator, ok? i found a nice hostel in luxemburg city, is there public transport from esch/alzette to luxemburg city late at night? couldn't find any accomodation in esch directly.
  9. it's totally out of context if you just quote my smileys!
  10. probably mika and his whole family & team are regular readers of this thread. it's always good for a laugh! btw, here are some fab pix from statue_of_liberty, if you need new input for captions: http://s745.photobucket.com/albums/xx92/Statue_of_Liberty/Mika%20in%20Hammersmith%20Apollo%20London%2028th%20Feb%202010/ maybe for this one, for example?
  11. yeah, i've been thinking about this for years, but somehow my vision keeps getting worse over the years, not that much, but still enough that if it continues like that, i'd probably need glasses again in 5-10 years - and that laser OP is really a LOT of money! maybe i should leave out a few mika gigs and use the money for that instead. ... ...but then again... no.
  12. maybe he just had one of those golden glitter thingies stuck in his face. or a light implanted. i couldn't see glasses either, like i said, he was too far away - but somewhere in the area around his eyes there was a very strong light reflection at one time, don't think his skin is that shiny. btw, how do you guys know about him needing them, was he wearing them in toronto? i wonder how strong his short-sightedness is, whether he always needs glasses or contact lenses, or if he can do without them too if he doesn't have to see that much. i hope for him that he's not as short-sighted as me, i'd probably get run over by a car if i went on the street without my glasses or contact lenses!
  13. i just bought a ticket to this gig on mikasounds! looks like it was the last one, now it's sold out again. no idea why they had a ticket, maybe someone returned theirs... however, luxemburg is more or less on the way from amsterdam back to munich, and it's the very last gig of the tour, and only very few of us crazy fans there (only 8 on the list? why isn't it more? i think the rockhal is for 6.000 people? ) - it was just too tempting! i have no idea yet how to get there though. anyone going by car from amsterdam and has a spare place in the car? btw, i think in luxembourg there are several languages spoken, right? anyone who's been to previous mika gigs there, which language did he speak there on stage, english or french?
  14. they want lots of money for shipping etc. though, i think she wants to avoid that if possible. the tix on mikasounds were actually a few euros cheaper, despite the shipping costs you had to pay there.
  15. love this pic, it looks like he's fangurling at mika! some more from london:
  16. hm, so maybe i wasn't wrong then... when we watched a bit of the soundcheck on sunday, at one point there was a reflection from the light in his face, which made me think he was wearing glasses. he was too far away for me to be sure though. didn't know that he really was shortsighted, as there are only very few pix of him with glasses, so i also thought they were just an accessoire. i remember back in 2007 we once had the discussion whether he was wearing contact lenses or not, using a close-up-pic of his eye as evidence - but we didn't really get to a conclusion. think i still have it, will e-mail the pic to you.
  17. you can still create a photobucket account, it's not that complicated. and i've only put very few of your pix on the dmfc site, you shouldn't keep all those other fab ones all to yourself!
  18. i hope he has enough mika cd's. and dolly parton, queen, disney soundtracks, etc. about the getting back in, i could imagine that they have a way to make that possible, because people might want to go outside to smoke after the show, for example, and well, they'd earn money if we buy drinks so they'd be stupid not to let us back in.
  19. on the group pic we took with him in hanover, he's actually the only one who DOESN'T have red eyes! maybe he can change the colour of his pupils from black to red as he pleases. i'm starting to get silly, time for bed i guess.
  20. that's just my red-eye-removal-tool! here's the original pic:
  21. and some by statue_of_liberty (have i mentioned that her pix are absolutely fantastic?! ) i loved that drawing! wonder who did it? mika? yasmine? gray skelly's new costume:
