  1. too tired for a full report now, already posted the most important news on twitter - fab show, mika was on fire, the band and the crowd as well... he took off his shirt before the WAG intro, i filmed first and then took a few pix (the best of them see above, i think he really looks like an underwear model there... ). he got graciosa+kanni+antoine on stage for lollipop, they were wearing costumes from the blackall project pic, antoine was wearing the paper dress again. took time to sign for everyone at meet+greet, was lots of ppl so he had to be fast for every single person, but it was a lot of time altogether. i love him. ok off now, need some sleep...
  2. when the first people arrived this morning, they were asked by a security guard whether they were from the fanclub and then told to queue at a separate door... cool that it is already organized so early in the morning! :-) "our" door is right next to the stage, very convenient, hehe!
  3. why so early? it's germany, not london. anyway, see ya tomorrow!
  6. btw, mariposa and me have thought about a dresscode for the basel gig, if anyone wants to join, we want to "kick ass" by dressing up as superheroes! i'll wear my cape from the blue star costume, and will make an eye mask out of sequins. mariposa wants to make some sort of mask too, like that green kick ass guy... and if i understood it correctly, graciosa also wants to join us, with at least a sequin eye mask.
  7. thanx for the pix nanou. here are my first 2 videos, more will follow tomorrow: over my shoulder (including talking at the beginning): toy boy (also including talking of course ): off to bed now, will probably sleep until tomorrow night!
  8. if the box office at the venue really opens at 5, like it says in their mail, it should be fine. don't mind at all in that case tbh, as it means that i'll get my 6,50 euro for shipping back.
  9. ok thanx for the info, just saw that e-mail too. i'll let the german girl know, and will let you know if she decides to take your ticket for sure.
  10. amsterdam is still (or rather, again...) available on mikasounds.com. and i also got a ticket for luxemburg on mikasounds 2-3 weeks ago, although they were already sold out. seems like they're getting tickets again occasionally, maybe if people give them back, or whatever... anyway it's worth looking on MS a few times per day, to see if there are any changes. munich is not sold out.
  11. as i've seen that several people are offering tickets for munich, i have some friends who might be interested if they don't have to pay the full price... anyway, guess it's too late to send tickets for munich now via mail, but if you're in munich yourself on saturday and have a spare ticket, pls let me know before you just let it expire without anyone using it. and axie, someone on the german forum posted that she's looking for a basel ticket, trying to get the two of you together then. will you be in basel yourself, or would you have to send it in the mail?
  12. mist. someone on the german forum posted that stuttgart is sold out. yay, at least one of the german gigs sold out, that's fab!
  13. hi robi, no, sorry, i don't think they're selling them anymore, haven't seen them displayed at the stands anyway.

  14. in case it hasn't been posted: http://www.mopo.de/2010/20100325/hamburg/mopop/pop_party_im_wunderland.html - it's a short article about the ones who won at this newspaper to be LGs/BGs.
  15. maybe they were, together with the grey undies... he wore blue ones in hamburg. button up shirts and grey undies were back for berlin though.
  17. exactly. those for whom it was the first mika gig were blown away. just us "regulars" realized. well i should try to see it positively, that i still look like a teenager! front row was for example mariposa, olga, nanou, patricia4u, tiibet, nightbird, statue_of_liberty, silke, etc... who were all over 20 or even over 30. 80-90% of the front row weren't teenagers. i guess that guy just saw the balloons, confetti, feathers and thought that's just for kids. agree. like i said in my report, mika did a good show. but what one can expect from my reports are comparisons to other gigs i've been to, the things that were different... otherwise i wouldn't have to report about every gig, as every report would be the same. don't know if "grumpy" is the right word, but like i said, i had the feeling that his mood yesterday was worse than at most other gigs i've been to, or at least that he was really tired, so that's what i reported. i still really enjoyed the show, and of course i don't blame him at all. like i said, everyone has a bad day once in a while, and due to me being totally knackered from traveling for not even a week, i can only start to imagine how he must feel touring for months and years, and probably also having a lack of sleep often. it's normal, and i don't blame him at all for being in a bad mood sometimes. you'll love it. he said sth like that it looks dead and sad, and something about really nasty looking toys in general. also remembered the part after it, that was extremely funny... he started playing toy boy but instead of the tb lyrics, he sang (not really in tune) "i have lost my mind and i am on tour..." - and then started giggling - that was hilarious!! then he changed the piano music a bit and said "that's new!" and giggled again. and then he said "i'm sorry" and started playing the song. in the berlin queue now, soon gonna put my stuff in hathor's hotel, so off again in a bit...
  18. aww, don't feel bad. he was strange yesterday, i mean, we put on those beaks only for dr john. he should've realized it was supposed to be the chickens. agree with that... hope he has thursday and friday off... friday was supposed to be the leipzig gig, hope they didn't put any other stuff on his schedule for that day. seeing how knackered i'm feeling after less than a week of touring, i only start to imagine how mika must feel sometimes, especially when he can't sleep well. that lack of sleep is the worst thing. will try to watch my video later and let you know what he said exactly.
  19. forgot something, i quite liked that, he told the story why he wrote over my shoulder - it was when all his demos were rejected and he wrote it so he would feel better... something like that, but it came across that it has a special meaning to him. i never particularly liked the song, but like it a lot more now that i heard this story. got it on video. @nono, yeah, maybe just tired. but then, the m+g seemed rather normal, he was more tired and faster at other m+gs (e.g. dusseldorf). or maybe he just had a bad day, everyone has that occasionally. just hope tomorrow'll be better.
  20. quick report, gotta get up again in 5 hours to catch my train to berlin. guess i won't upload my vids+pix when i get home but just sleep through the 2 days until it's time to queue for the munich gig! nah, will upload the stuff once i'm back home, got some good pix/vids from tonight, due to the small stage it's all quite close. so, the stage was really small, no place for the inflatable stuff, and he could stand on the piano but the ceiling was so low that he couldn't hold up his umbrella there. gig was good, mika did a good show, but he didn't really interact with the crowd like he usually does. not much eye contact (for no one), not much talking (i think he tried to talk a bit more german than in wiesbaden though ). think it also might've been cause he didn't see the crowd too well, before the show a photographer wanted to take pix of us and said he can't see anything. but generally mika seemed a bit grumpy tonight, we had the feeling he wanted to get through with his set as quickly as possible... and he did talk before toy boy, but was being really mean to his puppet - ok that was still funny but idk, it just sounded like he was in a bad mood. that tweet to albert this afternoon sounds similar... "you'd taste like sh*t!"... almost the whole front row had feather boas and feathers on sticks to wave with that, looked really cool... but mika didn't seem to care about it, think he saw it though, not like tiibet said only in the end, but before... because of what he said at the m+g... he was signing rather quickly, but working his way down the whole line (at least 50 ppl i think), i stood on a stone so i could take better pix, and when he passed, i held up one of the beaks to my nose and asked him whether he recognized/saw from the stage that we're dr john's magic chicken... and he said sth like no, he thought it was the scary/freaky (?? was some negative word, don't remember...) penguin again. well ok, failure i guess. WE did love it though, and enjoyed ourselves with all the feathers (i was in heaven, as you can imagine! ), even if mika in his bad mood didn't care. btw, he mentioned the dog bizkit, from the hanover radio gig thing. oh, and i finally got a pic with david after the gig! now i only need imma... dropped my camera though shortly after mika had left, and the shutter button (is that the right word?) fell off - it took ages to find it again, even john helped searching for a while with his torch! when i had almost given up, i suddenly saw it, and could just put it back in its place, so camera is working again, phew!! wouldn't have liked it to not be able to use it for the rest of the german tour!! ok really need to sleep now! just quick info, photographers were from hamburger morgenpost, radio hamburg and a press agency, if i understood correctly it was AP, but not sure. so you know where to search for pix.
  21. i know what you mean, been there tonight. though THE "hottest" street is the reeperbahn! which is just 20 metres away. they have a mika poster hanging at the door. and there's a small club that belongs to the venue as well, next to the one where mika will perform, and in this club was the first ever performance of the beatles. they even have a beatles sculpture at the end of this street. fantastic! and well, if anyone still needs a feather boa for tomorrow (if they wanna join in the dresscode dr john's magic chicken), there are lots of opportunities to buy any sort of feather stuff nearby. the cheapest feather boas we've seen so far are 3,95 euro. see ya all tomorrow! off to bed now, only got 2 hours of sleep last night, really tired!
  22. i just passed on what mika told me. *hides in a hole*
