  1. agree with that. having problems with my internet connection atm (am on the train to hamburg), that's why i only got parts of what happened... but the thing is, there are many of us, and if each just had written one tweet, mail or text to radio one when the song came on, in the lines of "hey, that song was really cool, i'd love to hear it again on your radio station", it probably would've been perfect. but from what i read on here, people wrote multiple tweets to the DJs, maybe along the lines of "play more mika!!!"... that was not really the purpose of the whole thing. really hope we haven't done too much damage by that, it would be such a shame! maybe i can catch up a bit tonight with all the things that happened, like i said, connection here on the train is awful, been trying to send this post for 10 minutes now.
  2. that's exactly what i meant with it, to give them positive feedback when they play the song, so they'll play it again. i didn't know people already started tweeting/mailing them now?! it should be the moment they play the song, that they're getting the feedback about it from everyone, sorry in case i got that across wrong. guess i shouldn't post at 3 am when i'm really tired!
  3. yup, of course that's what i meant. just woke up, and remembered that at the beginning of dr john the band played too long and mika looked at them, said shhh, and then grunted quite loudly, that sounded sooo funny! btw, at the dunkin donuts here yesterday i saw a donut that's called blue sky! off to shower and have breakfast now, will be online from the train later.
  4. seen that you were confused bout my kick ass tweet... they played it from cd right after lollipop, when everyone had left the stage. not live, unfortunately. and can't confirm what droopsy said bout pushing, she prob. just had bad luck i'd guess, behind & next to me no one was pushing, lots of space.
  5. quick report, gotta get some sleep before next gig tomorrow. gig was good, would compare it about to 2nd london gig. dublin still was the best of this tour for me. setlist like usual just with OMS added. LGs had veils instead of animal masks. mika talked lots of german (one time i helped him and he said thank you ) not much more talk before toy boy though than in london. he said we were the first crowd who reacted to his puppet, or something like that, because we cheered when the puppet waved its arm. and he said it looks like from the addams family. was so cute when he messed up toy boy, got that on video, but i guess tiibet will be faster to upload her version. ah, and it was the small stage set, i was surprised by that, as venue looked quite big. would've been for 5000-7000 ppl i think, but only 3000 tix were sold, so they put up some curtains so it looked smaller. what also was funny, while david was doing the schoolboy acting before LT, mika ate an apple on stage, and made some funny faces to it, haha! m+g was quick, he seemed tired, just signed a bit for non-organized crowd - i guess they didn't tell us to stand in a line because he didn't want to stay that long to sign for everyone. i just took some pix from the back, didn't meet him. got lots of eye contact at the gig though. wiesbaden tomorrow. might manage to upload some pix from the train, but not sure. oh, and they don't sell the personalized yearbooks anymore i think, haven't seen any...
  6. ok, found somewhere to sleep, but it would be in frankfurt... is any of you coming by car, waiting for mika after the show and going to frankfurt afterwards, and could take statue_of_liberty and me with you in the car? that would be really fab...
  7. the coke bottles are 1 euro each. i put you guys on the list, it's 15 people altogether now, will see whether that's ok for meggy of if it's too much.
  8. feather boa is fine, so then you're a black/purple chicken, why not. something else, french mfcer meggy has offered to bring some mika coke bottles to wiesbaden and hamburg, if anyone's interested let me know til tonight, i'll add you to the list.
  9. received my ticket today! it even says wiesbaden on it, not like the berlin+hamburg tix that still have the old venue on it... maybe that's why it took so long. something else, french mfcer meggy has offered to bring some mika coke bottles to wiesbaden and hamburg, if anyone's interested let me know til tonight, i'll add you to the list. and again something else, can't stay at a friends' place now like planned, so i'm looking for hotel roommates in wiesbaden. very last minute i know, but i found a hotel a 20 minute walk from the venue which is 20 euro for a 3 bed room (or 25 with your own bathroom in the room), so if anyone else is still looking, that would be an option. especially since the last trains back to frankfurt go before midnight, so if you wanna wait for mika, it might not be possible to get anywhere from wiesbaden by train, when he only comes out at midnight.
  10. over my shoulder? interesting... did he leave out another song for it? was his voice ok again, could he speak after the gig? tiibet already uploaded 2 videos, wag and i see you! looks like the stage was really close! aaah, i can't wait for the german tour, mika speaking german again, this always sounds sooo cute!! and everything from 1.200 to 7.000 capacity venues, wow, those next 2 weeks are gonna ROCK!! edit: just seen sara's report, fab that his voice seems to be alright again! how many people were waiting for him after the gig? and sara, tiibet's still up coz she's uploading videos. (i remember that from when i stayed at the same hostel as her in belfast )
  11. maybe me, depends on the price... i'll only need something for the night after the gig though, couldn't get cheap trains anymore (waited too long ), the night train was the cheapest available, so i'll arrive only in the morning of the gig.
  12. yup, colourful feathers are perfect. i have no idea how many people the front row holds at this place, but i think it's not more than 20 people from mfc + dmfc who are coming, and 20 should fit into front row at least, i hope, so then i guess 5 is enough, yes. i'm staying at a hostel nearby, so guess i'll just look to the venue between 2 and 3 and if no ones there yet, just do some more sightseeing.
  13. dresscode for wiesbaden, for those who want to join: mika's album artwork & characters. for example, i'll wear my blue star/planet dress, graciosa will come as billy brown... and maybe some of you want to go as big girls, lollipop girls, mubbins, toy boys, voodoo dolls, etc., or just something outer-space-ish? btw, i have 2 spare self-made mubbin masks (on a stick to hold in front of your face, like a venetian mask), if anyone's interested in borrowing them i'll bring them. got mubbina and drinky.
  14. everyone who's interested, on the german forum we agreed on a dresscode for hamburg: "dr john's magic chicken". that means, if you have any (preferably colourful) feather outfits / feather boas / feathers to stick in your hair, etc., that would be fab. if not, maybe just colourful clothes? i'll bring some feather stuff too, if anyone wants something at the venue... but if you wanna join us and have a feather boa yourself, bring it. plus, i'll bring some beaks (made of orange cardboard paper), which we'll put on for the song dr john. if i should bring one for any of you guys, let me know. no idea... somewhen in the afternoon, that should be enough for those small gigs, i hope! 2-3 maybe?
  15. *bump* why am i the only one posting in this thread? it's today in 2 weeks. really looking forward to it, seems to be the smallest gig of the german tour.
  16. i'll see what it'll be like in dusseldorf, and deciding from that... really hope i don't have to be there before noon, rather early afternoon. around 14-15h would be ideal imo, but well, depends on the rest...
  17. get your a** on the yes list again, it can take a week after the dispatch confirmation until you actually receive them. i NEVER got them earlier than 3 workdays after that confirmation, mostly it's around a week. and i haven't received the wiesbaden one either. knowing my luck, it'll come tomorrow when i'm not at home in the morning, so i'll have to make my way to that stupid far away post office again to pick it up! so if it was up to me, they can take their time until thursday...
  18. das wär so toll wenn er den song auf der tour irgendwann spielt! auch kein plan wg support.
  19. a few months ago, nothing was sure yet though - it started with a few girls from the german forum looking for places to sleep, and with us trying to organize it somehow - until a few weeks ago, no one was really sure how many places they could offer and for which night(s), that's why i didn't post it on here earlier. but maybe the next time we'll be more organized and manage to figure it out sooner, so of course you can always ask.
  20. windows movie maker, and cut it in 2 halves. so you said on twitter that mika talked a lot more than usually? what did he say? hehe, maybe he read our thread about the tour suggestions. awww! so sweet that he hugged you! wonder if he's reading it right now...
  21. btw, we still have a few sleeping places to offer in munich... mostly on the floor i think, you'd have to bring your own camping mat+sleeping bag - might be a few sofas as well though, i'd have to check with the other girls. in my mum's flat (she won't be there, but i'll stay there for that night) there definitely still are some places on the floor available for the night sat/sun.
  22. not sure if that guestlist sign has anything to do with the mfc sign... but maybe it's a separate entrance for mfcers and people who are on the guestlist? anyway, it's cool that they have an mfc sign, whatever it is for!
  23. just tweeted by mana: http://twitpic.com/18scnu i guess that's the stage layout for the support act? looks nice. do we know who is support in copenhagen? edit: another pic by mana: http://twitpic.com/18sd0l
