currently uploading my videos on my youtube account (mellody76)... you can see them appearing there one by one, will post all the links when they're finished. i have rain, big girl, sitm, biotg, blue eyes, my interpretation (including the talking bit at the beginning), and touches you. not the usual quality, as i wasn't in the front, but at least this time there's no singing or camera shaking due to dancing from me, and i got the whole songs in most cases.

me as a big girl. btw, while reading bits+pieces of this thread in the last few days, i noticed that some of you were wondering why there were so many slim big girls (or "small big girls", as mrs p calls them ) - don't know if this has been answered yet, but to tell you my version of the story... there were lots applying for lollipop girl that evening, but they had only 4 LG costumes. mrs p chose the LGs first, those with the smallest clothing sizes, and then she said, if we have enough costumes, you can all be BGs. they only have a very limited amount of small BG corsets though (i think 2), and for the rest of us, mrs p decided she would have the costumes changed. she said at one time something like that all the BG costumes used to be to small, and now they're all too big. she was so sweet, she didn't want to turn down any of us! i even said to her one time that it wouldn't be a problem for me if it's not possible and i'd just go and watch the gig instead, but she said it's ok, i could stay, they'd find a solution. the 2 small BG costumes would've fit me, but they were already given to lillibet and someone else, and there were 2 or 3 more girls who were too small, so they just changed the costumes for us. the knickers fit me just fine though, for once my big hips came in handy. and those frilly things make you look big indeed, lol!

am finally back home and more or less awake. well, more less than more, lol! anyway, just wanted to post a few pix, so you can see what the book looked like. it's the cover, the short introduction i wrote, and my personal message to john. i don't post pix of any of your messages now, as i'm not sure whether everyone would be ok with having them posted here - but if you let me know that it's ok if i post yours, i can post a few. when lillibet and me gave it to him, in lillibets bag with her presents (scarf and scented candle) and i explained it to him and showed him the book, he joked about the cover pic, holding it horizontal instead of vertical and saying something like it's good that it's not that way... don't remember what he said exactly, but it was about if he wasn't standing but lying like that with the flowers, it wouldn't be good. and damn, looking at it now, he's right, maybe this cover design wasn't the best idea! well, happy that he liked it anyway, that message was so sweet of him! thanx also to sariflor for forwarding it to me. btw, i thanked john for his message when i saw him on monday. lillibet, was he wearing your scarf on monday? anyway it looked a lot like the one you gave him!

statue_of_liberty said she understood osaka, but i really don't remember, i've never heard the names of those cities before.

no big report from me tonight, am too tired. i tried something new for my gray skelly costume tonight, without the hat but with glitter/sequins instead. scared a few people with that. http://twitpic.com/164nwg some bits+pieces though... it was fantastic! gray skelly (the puppet ) was on stage during lollipop, she has a new costume (white). mika has a chair for his toyboy puppet. he talked a lot before toy boy. quick m+g afterwards. oh, and i bought a personalized exercise book for 25 pounds and mika has written on it "i love mr. jones" - so at the m+g i quickly took the chance to hold it up from the back and ask mika "who is mr jones?" and his reaction was so funny, he put his finger to his forehead and said "aah-haa!" and grinned, as if saying "yes, THAT is the question!" - he made us even more curious about it now. good night for now, am reeeeallly tired and have to get up at 9 tomorrow.

john sent us a message about the present (through sariflor): post that i was REALLY moved by the booklet that everyone contributed to from all over the globe and the gifts as well. it's heartwarming to know that my little efforts to accommodate people are appreciated. i can be a bit brusk and grumpy at times. but, always am thinking of how we can make it a bit easier for mika's loyal and wonderful fans around the world. it's important to him that you are looked after and i try to do the best i can to carry out his wishes. and, to get the kind of feedback from you in the form of this booklet and gifts that so many people spent time organizing is over and above any expectations. just a thank you once in while is more than enough. but, this is over the top. thank YOU! see you at the next show. love, jdb :wub2:

well anyway he claimed he didn't. he asked us when we entered his dressing room for the pic, who it was - strangely though, he asked while sara passed by him. btw john got his book. he didn't look through it straight away though, so there's not much to report bout it really... but will do a little report in the john project thread when i get back home pfft, am so tired, woke up at 6 and couldn't sleep anymore. but weather is nice+sunny today. oh btw if i understood it correctly, mika said during the general m+g to 2 japanese fans that he'd be in japan in june, 3 cities iirc, tokyo was amongst them but don't remember the other 2 he mentioned. didnt take many pix during the gigs, but statue of liberty took some fab ones. i filmed several whole songs though, think i got relax, big girl, my interpretation, blue eyes and touches you. oh and SITM (which was really funny again, he called jimmy+martin as*holes. ), but my battery died somewhere in between, so it's not the whole song. will upload when i'm home, wednesday i guess because first thing i'm doing when i get home is SLEEP, i have an incredible lack of that by now.

i'm totally knackered but happy. greetings also from statue_of_liberty, we persuaded her to go also to the gig today instead just tomorrow and she didn't regret the decision. she'll write her report later this week. like i wrote on twitter, i was a big girl - if you see pix, the one with the green corset and pink head. there were 11 BGs and 4 LGs, mrs p was sooo lovely, she made sure everyone who applied could do it, they adjusted the costumes a bit so they'd fit us "small big girls". all those backstage preparations were a fantastic experience, and we even got to see parts of the soundcheck. the bits on stage went by so fast that i hardly can remember anything. jimmy kneeled in front of me, and later tried to see who was under the mask but no idea whether he recognized me. afterwards we quickly got to take a pic with mika (in 2 groups cause we were so many), but unfortunately ours was taken with the camera from a girl who won't come online until thursday. didn't really get to talk with him, it was rather a general "thank you" saying from both sides. we got to watch the gig til dr john, i obviously wasnt at the front but well i can't agree with enigma, i thought mika indeed WAS on fire (statue_of_liberty thinks the same, and she was at the front. ), it felt like a fantastic gig to me, although of course it was totally different to watch it from the back, in this uncomfortable corset. he did my interpretation, i heard from someone that it was just because david's keyboards didn't work, so they had to improvise. a few things went wrong and from what M said at the m+g, he wasn't happy at all with that. well, i didn't notice from the back that anything went wrong, to me it definitely was a fantastic gig (the part i saw ). and a fantastic experience (all the rest. ) off to bed now, need to be halfway awake tomorrow. :rolls_eyes:

heard that there are 20 ppl in the queue atm, first arrived at 7 am - not too bad, 2007 has been worse. hope tomorrow will be more relaxed. 10 frenchies here that are not on mfc. heavy rain here.

almost midnight and i haven't even finished packing! plus wanted to try some things re. gig outfit, but guess it has to work without a dress rehearsal then, surprise surprise, LOL! am worried bout da skelly costume anyway, with all the rain we have to expect. dress doesn't matter, but mask and hat don't go well with rain.

really? i think he involves them as much as he always did. his dancing with imma during ggg? his interactions with jimmy during sitm? teasing of david about getting piano parts wrong etc.? lollipop drumming? and david's acting in the beginning, that's more band involvement than ever. you may have a point though in the sense of positions on stage, they used to be more in the front of the stage, next to mika, not behind him. maybe that makes it seem like he's not involving them, but i really can't see a difference in their involvement, compared to previous tours.

no, iirc they were sold on spreadshirt.net, you just have to upload your design there and they'll print it on shirts, buttons, etc. for you. that's what i'm doing with my german fanclub, all i have to do is upload the logo in the right format, and they'll do the rest. hmm, but didn't violet make the new design? the brand may be not yours, but the rights for the logo should still lie with the person who originally made it, or did they have to sell that? like i said before, it wouldn't be hard to organize, i guess if we have to wait for team mika to sell mfc badges, we'll still be waiting in 2 years. so all you'd need is their ok that we can sell them, and use a company like spreadshirt for it.

yeah, what happened to the badges? is there a reason why they're not sold anymore? it's not just because of the new design i guess, as the link to buy them already disappeared quite a while ago.

will post pix tomorrow, or after london. afternoon sounds fine with me... guess i'll hang around the venue from noon on, coming and leaving if the weather is too cold/rainy, as i can't be bothered to queue all day because i won't go for front row anyway with my huge gray skelly hat. i'll have to wait for lillibet anyway, because of the presents - and tiibet has something too, iirc (but knowing her, i think she'll be there early ) so i'd say we'll give the stuff to john at the latest around 5-6 when he comes out to search for BGs/LGs. so avoca, as for the time, it'll be as soon as a) lillibet is there and b) john comes out - but of course we don't know when exactly he'll come out.
