the place where we've been talking about it all the time is the thread of the australian interview where he first played it (somewhere in "news") - actually it's more a let it snow thread than a thread about the interview. more of my videos: some bits+pieces of billy brown: talk about bizkit (mika says he looks like chewbakka, lol! ), a really funny part about mika swearing, and rain (whole song): let it snow, filmed by mikaschnegge with my camera, because i was busy throwing snow kanni had drawn pictures for every line of the lyrics, really creative (like she always is! )! and mika looked at them quite a lot - just at one point i think she was too slow and he got confused. btw, that bit where mika threw the fake snow over me wasn't after the song, but only at the end of the show - i have a quite shaky video of it, he in fact bent down and picked up the bag with the snow from the front of the stage where i had put it!

yup, it's uploading right now. i missed the beginning, he messed it up a few times before he really started, only got the end of that when he finally got it right... but i think that messed up part is on one of graciosa's videos, i'll get to them when i'm finished with uploading mine. btw, it was a shorter version, he only repeated the first verse again and not all of them like it would normally be. will post the link when it's finished.

that he liked berlin and baden-baden, but didn't have much time for sightseeing, and then he talked about being chased all the way to his hotel when he left a pay-what-you-want restaurant without paying... he said he'd been invited by friends though, so that story is a bit strange... that was the boy who asked him how he became a singer, see part 4 of the q+a videos i have a videocamera, i don't need a memory. well, and the rest that i in fact remembered, it didn't happen long ago when i posted about it yesterday. oh yes, he loved that jacket (and her for wearing it)! he didn't say anything about it, but graciosa gave me her videos to upload (because she can't do it herself or doesn't have time), and looks like she got an extra amount of eye contact. plus at our small dmfc m+g in the end, he was so sweet to her too! 1. of course we didn't know he'd do let it snow... but we hoped he would. 2. well, he might have done it, if his followers were only mfc and not 100.000 random ppl.

we all just get thumbnails. btw, i opened up a thread in the news section about all the interviews, so we can concentrate on the gig talk in here.

did someone manage to record it? i never know how to record such live streams! yup that was one of the interviews they did with him after the show - i also have this interview on video, but hard to understand there what he's saying because i was standing a bit further away. will upload it though, so you can try how much you understand. think they asked him 1-2 more questions then the ones that were on tv now.

here's part 2 of the q&a - imo the funniest part, with the talk about how he wanted to be a duck, and about the boy on twitter who didn't like mika's xmas decoration. it's still processing though, so the picture quality is not 100% yet.

thanx for the pics silke! seeing those with mika and the dog makes me think, i heard that dogs and their owners often look somewhat alike - and THIS would be exactly the right dog for mika, looking at the hair...

oh god, just watching this q+a thingie again, it's hilarious! mikaschnegge (i think) asked, if he could be another person for one day who would he be, and he said the queen and talked a bit about how it was meeting her 2 days ago. and his second choice on who to be was obama. and when he was younger he always wanted to be a duck. because they were doing nothing, just floating around, eating all day, and because they were living in the park, and when it got too cold they'd just fly away on holiday. and then he did some sort of a duck sound and started laughing a lot - hard to describe, but i have it all on video, wait til you see it, it's absolutely hilarious! i think a lot of the fun of the whole thing also came from the radio presenter, i loved her sense of humour and her joking around with mika! it was like sillyness building up from all sides, from him, from us, and from the radio presenter - we were laughing SO much!

nope, in my videos you'll get to hear everything he says! but on tv tomorrow they'll probably speak over his voice again. ok off to catch my train now, will try to go online from there as well, but as the connection goes on and off on the train, i won't be online all the time.

uploading now the last part of the q+a (the part that was on my 2nd memory card), about 3 minutes... question by a little boy how mika became a singer. he tells his story, that he was bad at school etc. - and then the radio presenter asks whether she should tell that boy now to be bad at school to become a singer, lol! and mika also said singing was easier for him than brushing his teeth, and that he hates brushing his teeth - and the interviewer tells the boy "and mika always brushes his teeth!" will be up in a few minutes on my youtube channel (mellody76). edit: here's the link, but it's still processing:

just in the video... he spent about 10 minutes cuddling the dog - and that was just what we saw after the gig! from what the radio ppl said, it was similar before the gig already! i bet he'd have taken that dog with him if it had been possible!

not yet... remind me again in 45 minutes! preparing a vid now, hope i'll get to upload it before i have to get on the train, because probably can't upload it from the train, there the internet keeps disconnecting too often. won't be able to do the long q+a video now though, it's 18 minutes, prob. will have to cut it in several parts anyway.

thanx for posting! wow, they're quick! unfortunately talking over his voice again! he's saying that that there were real fans who travelled from far away, and they were as silly as him, so he felt comfortable, when usually at gigs he just does his songs and runs away... and that it felt like in his living room. aww!

btw, just remembered, at one point he said that he hated some record company ppl - i'd love to know whether that referred to the single only being released in january in germany, and i wanted to ask him about it after the group pic, but forgot. ah yes, that was when he talked about his naked man necklace... someone asked whether it was a voodoo doll, and he said yes, for some record company ppl he hates... then he told the whole (real) story of that necklace, quite funny too! video. btw, have a power plug now... damn, if i go on like this, i'm gonna miss my train because i'm stuck on the forums!

dog bisquits! this was the radio presenter, and it was something about eating dog bisquits - she asked him whether he'd do it (but he didn't), but then she ate one herself and was quite disgusted by it. so funny! that happened during the q+a, but that pic was taken at the end of the signing... i hadn't even noticed, lol! but that thing she's holding is one of those dog bisquits, so i guess it refers to that. btw, that dog really felt so soft and fluffy like it looks, no wonder mika couldn't get enough of fluffing its hair! about the tv thing, the rtl one is on regional rtl here in the area, but i was told it'll be on the web one day later.

dmfc group pic (unfortunately kanni missed it, because she was so busy with the dog bizkit, that she didn't notice when mika came!): btw, i'm at mcdonalds on my own, everyone else left with the train at 8:30 pm, but i couldn't change my ticket to an earlier train because i bought a special offer ticket. think i found a power plug, well i'll see whether i can use it or whether ppl at mcdonalds will tell me i can't... should buy sth to eat first, just in case. btw in the pic are (left to right, dmfc usernames): jumpup, mikasuperfan, graciosa, mikaschnegge, lilli, silke - and me in the front.

there! just what i said! can't see myself in the pic, but i'm underneath that snow! but looking at that smile, i forgive him everything!

he wished us merry christmas, and there were some more bits of talking, but don't remember much of it now, hope the others of DMFC remember more, will let you know about it if they don't post it here themselves. at that time it was only 8 of DMFC left there, except for the radio station ppl. mika was in a relaxed mood and ready to chat with us a bit i think, but we couldn't think of much to say, anyway my head was quite empty (or too filled with all the impressions of the evening), and we didn't want to bother him for long, because he had already taken so much time for meeting everyone there, and because the radio station ppl had said before, that he was in a hurry... but probably that was just because he wanted to get finished with the signing, i'm actually not even sure whether he knew this singing would happen, imo he looked a bit like "oh damn!" when after the q+a she said that now everyone would get autographs. i had posted on the german forum yesterday whether someone could bring fake snow, and kanni did... plus she had drawn some pictures for the lyrics, in case he forgot them again ... so she was holding up the pictures and i was throwing fake snow in the crowd every time for "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" at first i just let it fall down but mika motioned to me to throw it upwards and stupid me did and it went all over ME, arrgh! well the plan was to throw it behind me but didn't go like planned. so i was covered in that smelly fake snow that now sticks everywhere, arrgh! and looks like dandruff in my hair. at the end of the song, mika wanted to have the bag, took a whole handful snow out of it and threw it right over me. then he took more to throw over martin... and i took revenge and threw some in mika's direction too (hadn't done before because he was behind the keyboard and might not have been good for the keyboard...). so at least he got a LITTLE bit of snow-dandruff as well, hehe. then the q+a, there were several ppl asking questions and the radio presenter also had some, and mika gave long answers to each question, so i just asked my own question (about sightseeing in germany). there were some funny bits... about his twitter xmas deko pic, he said that some 13 year old boy on twitter wrote that he hated it and mika was quite annoyed by that and said that he wanted to write him back sth like "you little brat!" and block him, but didn't, because then he (mika) would've been blamed for it - was quite funny, i should have it on video (hopefully!) i couldn't find my list with questions anymore so the sightseeing one was the only i could remember, didn't even think about the present thing. sorry... i just wanted to have a list of questions in case there wouldn't be enough other questions from the crowd (but no need to worry at all, there were. ) at one point the dog came on stage and they said mika had rehearsed a little trick with him - it would've been hi-fiving mika, but first he did it wrong (obviously you had to hold the hand horizontal with the palm to the top, and mika did it, well, like you'd hi-five someone), and when they finally told him how to do it right, the dog had enough and just ran away... so funny, lol! poor mika though, he tried again and again and it didn't work!

no time to read the thread, my battery won't last all the 4 hours i still have to wait here for my train, and idk if mcdonalds lets me use their power plug, lol! so seems like you got some pix+radio stuff already? we were told it was 120 ppl, so yes, really small... and felt so special, with the q&a and all, more like a living room gig than anything else before... more living room, less gig - i love it how every time i see him it's different and special in its very own way. setlist was like the secret gig in tokyo i think, including let it snow... he was joking around between songs, and the q+a was so funny too - got it all on video. well until my (first) card was full, so in between i missed a bit, don't know yet how much, hope it wasn't too much and hope someone else filmed the bit i missed. then he signed stuff for everyone who was there, was getting a bit much as many got more than one autograph (well that's cause the radio station told the winners they should bring thingS to sign... ), and mika took lots of time drawing hearts and stuff and writing "to *name*" for everyone. during the signing i asked whether we could get a DMFC group pic when he left and still had time then, and he said ok... the radio station was fab, they let us stay inside so we wouldn't have to wait in the cold, and mika came downstairs again to do some interviews (they'll be on german tv channels sat1 and rtl tomorrow at 17:00/18:00, and one will be on the website of the radio station), so we could just stand there and watch him do the interviews. then he went upstairs again and there spent about 10 minutes playing with that dog and fluffing through its hair (and i thought I was obsessed with doing that, LOL! ) - was fab to see him so relaxed and happy! then he was gone for another 10 minutes or so and when he came downstairs to leave, he took a pic with us in front of the xmas tree. i told him thanx for everything, and said hi from all on mfc - and he giggled and said with an amazed look on his face that mfc had so many members now and that's fantastic (he said a number, as i can see it's 15.000, but don't remember whether that was the number he said... probably yes but i really can't remember ). ok sending post now, will write more in next post.

seems like there'll be an interview with mika on radio ffn soon - on the radio they said at 4, but he has soundcheck now. could someone listen+record pls? link see one of my other posts

nah violet, don't spread rumours here, it surely won't be just 20 ppl but 100 like they said on the radio website. seriously, i wanted to ask him that question about the tokyo present anyway! so we still don't know what it was? i thought bluesky had mentioned seeing a pic of it or something... i'd just ask whether he can tell us what it was, and if he says no, i'd just ask another question instead. but he can't make us all curious by tweeting about it and then not tell more, lol! he probably just thought it wasn't important enough to tweet more about it, or didn't want to make other fans jealous by posting a pic. damn, i woke up way too early!
