what did you all write? if any of you just wrote something like "aww cute" (like most of the other comments that are still on there), then it was probably a twitter problem. edit: ok just checked and in fact this WAS what you wrote droopsy! it really doesn't make sense that he would delete that, so it seems to be a twitter problem. btw, my comment on the other pic is gone too now!

did you also tell him that the leaves looked fake? looks like mika made a clean sweep with his picture comments.

i still prefer to believe that deleting my post was a strange way of him saying hello to me, lol! ... well, let me dream, it feels better than thinking he doesn't like what i write.

yes, that, or they are real and he didn't want anyone to get the idea that they might not be. after all, they DO look fake! omg, that's censorship! maybe he just finds it funny to tease us and make us wonder why he deleted it. well, maybe he just bought the green needle stuff there (what's that called in english? )? and some flowers for his apartment (in the mirror you can see a vase with flowers )? mistletoe? poinsettia? he's not finished with his xmas deko yet!

sure, that must be it. well i just noticed that the leaves looked fake, but now mika (or twitter) made me analyze the possible reasons for my comment disappearing! but whatever, you're right, i should concentrate on my yearbook contribution instead of wondering about leaves or comments.

aah, haha, i almost forgot that! nice decoration. but apparently mika deleted my comment on the 2nd pic... or twitter is doing stupid things again, that's more likely, because i don't know why he would delete it... i made the connection to his flower market tweet and asked whether the flowers were real, plus mentioned that the leaves don't look real (who knows, maybe there really are leaves like this, but to me they look like plastic ) ... actually, that decoration wouldn't look good anymore at xmas if it was real flowers, so i don't think they are... although they DO look very real in that pic, except for the leaves. i really wonder though why my comment is gone, if it's because of twitter that's just extremely random - and it does still show up in my tweets!

as some on here have said that it's not all seated (well, and we DID buy standing tickets on mikasounds ), maybe one of the mods should remove this from the event description thingie? sorry that i started this rumour, but i couldn't find any pix of the venue without chairs, so i thought it must be seated... i finally decided for a place to stay, took me a while to decide because seems like most budget accomodations in belfast aren't the qualitiy you'd get in other cities... but now decided i'll stay at this hostel, in a 6-bed female dorm: http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Vagabonds/Belfast/36129 - it's affordable, has very good reviews on hostelworld, and google maps tells me that it's 22 minutes walking time from the venue. only negative thing about it is, that it's only shared bathrooms and they seem to have only 3 showers for the whole hostel - but, according to all the reviews, those showers are very clean, spacious and private. they don't have lockers in the rooms, but i've asked, you can leave valuables at the reception. breakfast and free wifi are included. all in all, from the hours of research i've invested in this, i'm sure that this is the best you can get in the centre of belfast for that price (i'm paying about 17 euro per night in the 6-bed female dorm). so, is anyone else staying there, or are you all going for a proper hotel? oh and btw, is anyone planning to dress up for the show? i think i'm gonna go for some glow in the dark stars again like in LA, just this time a bit more professional, with matching clothes (i found out that there's glow in the dark textile paint, hehe! ), to make it look a bit like the tbwktm cover. don't know if he'll still have the blacklight for the tour, but i suppose he does, and if not, well, it'll still be dark at some points, so i can glow. so well, i was thinking, maybe we could all do some tbwktm artwork motto, if you want? that's quite open, and it wouldn't matter that we don't know yet what mika is planning for the tour. before i decided on the glow in the dark thing, i was also thinking of creating masks (like my grey skelly one, so basically just paper on a stick ) of the mubbins or those voodoo masks... maybe someone wants to do that?

sorry, already booked a hostel yesterday, because it was all so insecure here and i didn't want to wait any longer. i don't want to change hotels in between and seems like no one has a room for saturday yet (or at least no spare places). and obviously the travelodge rooms for saturday cost 45 pounds now (even at the savers rate), that's too expensive for me. but thanx for the offer. so i'll be staying at this place from sat-tues: http://www.st-christophers.co.uk/london-hostels/london/hammersmith it's only about a 5min walk from the venue, so if anyone else is looking for a cheap place to stay and doesn't mind sleeping in a hostel dormitory, i'd be happy to meet you there.

a voting on one of the big radio stations in munich, "rain" is the "hit-tip", which means you can vote it into the charts of this radio station. link is: http://www.charivari.de/musik/chartshow.php select rain (and if you want, a title from the charts as well, but that's optional), scroll down, enter your first and last name, birthday and e-mail. you can leave the other field empty, or nominate another song for the charts in the format artist - "title". then click on the button "voting abschicken". the text on there says that they will stricly protect your data and not sell it to anyone. you'll recieve a confirmation e-mail about your vote, so i think with that they check whether the mail-address exists and might not count the vote if it's a fake address... but you don't have to click a link or anything. i really hope we'll get him into the radio charivari charts, because universal germany isn't doing any promo for mika atm, and they've postponed the release date of rain several times already, so it'd be nice if at least the radio stations played it. thanx for your help.

update on the german mikasounds website, rain to be released in germany on january 8th. that's the 3rd release date we're getting now, so i've given up to believe anything they write!

on bluesky's video i'm pretty sure i understand "loverboy" - which would explain why he wouldn't play it, he never did... but those who were there could probably understand it better than us in the video, and if they say it's lonely alcoholic, then i guess i'm wrong... just doesn't make sense to me why he wouldn't play that, he did on the acoustic tour... edit: listened again and now i can hear both loverboy and lonely alcoholic! so now we can guess which one he referred to. he once talked about it in an interview in 2007, here's the quote: But after a gig, if people want to talk to you, I don’t mind so I go and walk out. hmm, i can't quite make out whether it's his index or middle finger... but if it's his middle finger, he must have extremely flexible hands/fingers, because when i try this, my index finger would always be above the other fingers (which means it would be visible in the pic), i couldn't bend it that much when i stick out my middle finger... and my hands ARE quite flexible already!
