dunno if it has been mentioned, but i just remembered he did that jumping thing during love today again, just without the going down first - and he said "on 3 everybody jumps, including me!" - and everyone who was in LA was shouting at him "NOOO!!" - lol! thankfully he was sensible and didn't do a very big jump. and at the start of love today with the high "hey girl why..." his voice sounded hoarse, so he had to do it again - was funny as he didn't find the right point to start again for a while.

ok guys please everyone who will go to baden-baden without tickets and everyone who would go if they had tickets, please let me know (and which of those 2 options). i know about those who have posted it on the german forum, and here about fanny. anyone else? sabine? violet_sky? will *try* to organize something with mana's help, but it can't be for many ppl, don't know if any non-germans can go, and nothing's for sure at all. but just let me know pls, don't want anyone to feel left out afterwards. thx.

ok, quickly for you one pic and short report, i'm really tired, only slept like half an hour last night - had only 2hrs due to late concert and early flight and couldn't sleep, pfft. so, here's the pic: http://twitpic.com/mv5uq - there you can see that he had one of his crutches on stage (leaning at the keyboard), designed with neon ribbons and stuff - he didn't really use it though, just played around with it. he jumped a lot on one leg (if he isn't careful he'll hurt his other one too! ), danced and ran a few times - less than usually of course, but i would've expected him to move a lot less than he did! he said at the beginning sth like that he can do the show thanx to well-working american pain killers. poor guy. he actually told us at the m+g that it wasn't that bad, but guess that's just the drug influence. :rolls_eyes: and then he also went on about how bad a dancer he is but that tonight it doesn't matter / he has an excuse due to the brace. so, i'll quickly try to recall the meet+greet. mfc and others who got m+g were gathered in a room in the basement, then each group would line up at the exit of the room and in front of it was mika doing the m+g with everyone individually. mfc was last, i first stood in front of him with mana+christine and then also talked with him for a bit. stupid me should've gotten a pic with him! he did pix with everyone who asked (john took them), i just thought if i wanna talk with him, i won't bother him about a pic as well, as he looked quite tired. but when i saw the fab pix that the others got, i was a bit jealous afterwards. especially clare got sucha fab one! oh well. so , talk... with mana and christine there was some talk about his ankle, don't remember exactly what was said, jus that he said it wasn't that bad - see above. and i asked him whether it was during the part of love today when he made us close our eyes and jump, and he said yeah and that his foot went sideways (he didn't say it like that, just made a movement like it with his hand) when he landed after the jump. then i said well, we didn't see it as we had our eyes closed! and he was like hehe, that's good! then while mana+christine already left, i told him that i liked his dancing for touches you yesterday in la - because of what he said about the dancing on the show... he said thanx, and then i quickly talked with him about the 2nd copy of the german fanclub songs for sorrow booklet that he wanted for his sister, we agreed on that he/his sister will get it from us in baden-baden on nov 2nd. then i told him it was nice to meet him again, he wished me a safe travel, we shook hands, and i left. happy now. got loadsa fantastic pix and some videos as well, but guess will upload them only when i get back home (so probably will start posting them thursday, maybe a few wed evening), as here in san francisco i should do sightseeing instead of spending the whole day on the internet might upload a few in the evening though, will see. ok enough for now, need to get in my bed before i fall asleep here on the hostel corridor!

that was the very first option before i tried to get the other tickets, and didn't work because you need an address in the us for ordering (has to be credit card holder's address).

arrgh, is this jinxed or what? the first ticket i was supposed to get was sent out too late by sandbag, so it was too late to send it to me, and the 2nd one i might not get in time before the doors open, as the person's car broke down so she doesn't know yet when she'll arrive! i really hope i can still get a ticket at the box office!

and i just found out i have to get up at about 4 am saturday morning, to be on time for my flight. so with you guys driving the night through and me only getting max. 4hrs of sleep, mika will have a very tired mfc crowd in oakland, lol!

sure, why not? if you're not going with any of the 3 () suggested dress codes anyway, that costume would be great, it's super-cute! mika has confused me, now i don't know anymore what to wear. bought some moon+stars stickers today, and a pack of sparkle stems, thought i'd put those in my hair or something, would surely look spacey... but then my black+white dress wouldn't fit so well anymore i think, might wear the black and blue one instead, arrgh, i don't know, why does mika have to tease us with this and then not make a decision!

cool! so has anyone recorded the whole show / those bits and can put it on sendspace? oh we forgot to mention, while we were waiting to be let into the studio we heard mika rehearsing - he played biotg 2 or 3 times, and all the audience had to wait for him to get finished until we could go in.

i knew it. sarac had 2 spares i think, i'm getting one of them, don't know if she still has the other one - but there's also someone on the extra ticket thread who's going to the venue and trying to get rid of his spares there, so you should be fine. wtf, you're all going there so early?! i thought in the us it wasn't as bad as for the london gigs. because clare, nono and sivan are going to drive the night through, so they'll be there as soon as they arrive from la. my flight leaves quite early, but with getting my luggage, getting from airport to hostel, checking in, getting ready, getting from hostel to oakland i guess it'll be around noon until i arrive at the venue. pfft.

did they show us MFCers anywhere on the show? they didn't show the crowd during mika from what i saw on youtube (except for one shot from the back where you could see our arms up in the air if you know where to look ), but did they show us another time, like maybe at the beginning? just would like to know, whether i missed anything by not seeing the whole show on tv.

so, still no dress code decision... grrr @mika for waiting until last minute to tell us! :sneaky2: guess it's cause he can't make up his mind whether he'd prefer 50s or outer space, but if he waits any longer, he'll get none of it! will go shopping at art supply store today, just see what i'll find... probably get some face stuff for both options and then buy the costume last minute tonight or tomorrow morning in one of those costume shops around the corner. arrgh mika, it could've been so easy with the black+white theme, why does he have to complicate it like that!

don't have a ticket yet... did they sell any on mikasounds so far then? guess i'll just wait until i'm back in munich, it's more secure to enter credit card data from my pc at home than from here... and hopefully they'll be selling tix on MS by then, i want my magic numbers!

anyone recording the show tomorrow, so those of us without a tv / without us tv can watch it? i'd love to know if they actually show us on tv, they didn't really film us much, filmed more in the middle of the crowd... maybe during the mika performance, didn't look at the cameras during that, so don't know...

thanx so much also from me to dcdeb, fd, rest of the mod team and team mika for making this happen, it was fab! ok it was mainly waiting for ages for 4 minutes of mika, but the show itself was very entertaining as well, and mika's performance was brilliant and right there before our eyes. perfect seats, not even cameras blocking the view (feared that might happen but gladly it didn't), just great! and it was also so sweet of mika to turn down the window of the car to talk for a moment when he saw us. don't know if the traffic light at the studio exit was red or if they even stopped for us, anyway they stopped for about a minute, and mika turned down the window right away when he saw us standing there and asked how we were. there were a few cars driving by between his car and where we stood though, and it was right next to the main road, so it was quite loud and difficult to understand for us what he said and vice versa. we told him that we liked his performance and said thank you for the tickets, and clare asked about the dress code... he wanted our opinion on whether it should be 50s or outer space, i said outer space because it would go fine with the black+white we had thought of on the mfc. but it was all a bit confusing with the loud traffic around and shouting over the street. i asked whether he'd do a twitter party tomorrow, couldn't understand his answer, just saw that his face expression obviously meant no, sadly not... but the others said he said sth like that he can't do it tomorrow, because he has interviews+stuff. but again, hard to understand what he really said, due to the loud traffic. anyway, it was just fab to see him again, he looked so good and happy today!

ok thanx, i'll just ask my way through, will say a friend has tickets and we're meeting up at the entrance, then i hope they won't want to see my ticket until i'm actually there. hehe.

pfft, spent 50 cents on calling at ellen, just to hear a long text of which i didn't understand much, as it wasn't spoken very clearly and i had a lot of background noise here, and then being told that the mailbox is full, so i couldn't even leave my name+number! :sneaky2: so i really hope that they'll call one of you back and give you 3 tickets for us. or that mika gets us in, will tweet him about it.

agree with that! why let his tweet disturb our original idea? if he says colourful tomorrow, well, then we'll just have to be spontaneous - but if he says like outer space or something, the black+white would still fit, we could just add something for it then.

well, i guess where the bus stops is just the main entrance, probably the one where the studio tour starts as well? but if that stage 11 thing is not too hard to find, i should be ok. though at universal today all those stage something things were inside the studio area, and i think you couldn't just walk in there like that.

yeah, please let us know here on the thread when you found out. but if we don't find out, yeah, think we should be there somewhat around 12-1. i went to the jimmy kimmel show tonight and if it's as easy to get into the ellen show tomorrow as it was for this one, we'll have no problems. doubt it though, otherwise they wouldn't have this call in thing. but for jimmy you could just turn up there and would get in if you were there on time. if it's too many ppl, it's on a first come first served basis, but tonight it was about 50-100 ppl and everyone got in.

who knows, maybe i said it and just can't remember and can't imagine why i would've said that, lol! oh, didn't know it'd be that much of a way around... nevermind then, i asked at the hostel now and they said there's a bus running directly from here to the studios, taking 20 minutes. just hope we'll find each other there then, but you have my mobile nr, just in case. what time should we meet up there then?

i am! http://twitpic.com/m7sqt just wish it was warmer again, but there's hope - my weather forecast says that it is because of that hurricane there over mexico and that it will be over 30°C again later this week. what exacly is the topic of this homework? wonder what mika's plans are concerning the dresscode... maybe he read this thread and wanted to make the black+white / moon+stars idea public. but well, we'll see what he comes up with. just hope he does it soon so i can go shopping, if necessary! hope it's something where i can still use my original idea, otherwise, knowing me, i'll spend hours and lots of money in those costume shops. so far i resisted the temptation to buy anything there, but if mika's idea is something for which i don't have stuff with me, this would be a perfect excuse for me to go crazy in those shops! my poor money! but well, i do have a few options besides the black+white... for example took some golden stuff with me as well.
