yup, that's the one i have as well. it's called mastix, but probably that's the name of the company, it also says "spirit gum" on the package. tried it today, had a flower-shaped stone stuck to my forehead for the whole day while packing my bags and doing housework. holds perfectly. just a bit hard to get off, even with that remover thing.

well snow is ok, it's only around zero when it snows. better than rain. but the problem with snow is, that either a) it keeps snowing, then it'll stay there but soon you'll have too much of it or b) it stops snowing and gets icy cold, like it's often the case in germany - and although i love snow, i really hate that cold! or c) it stops snowing but doesn't get any colder, in this case the snow will soon turn into mud or will disappear. so all in all, i'd be fine with going to the mountains (only an 1hr drive from where i live) if i want snow, and instead have it a bit warmer here.

ah fantastic, let's meet up there then! i'm sure it won't start that early, after all you can call for tickets until 12 noon, so i guess the show won't start before 2 pm, probably later.

nope - you forget i live on the other side of the planet. but yeah, she IS hilarious, i watched some of the videos on her website, this show is gonna be fun! i tried tweeting her, but doubt it'll help anything. why should it make a difference for her whether i'm from germany or not, don't think she'll interview me about it?! i'll just try to call that ticket hotline on the day of the show, look for news on MFC/twitter, maybe tweet mika that day, and spend some time around those tv studios - though they're probably so huge that it's hopeless to go there if you don't know where exactly. or when. or anything, in fact.

bought some stuff today to stick to my face... have sequins now and stones, will decide on the day of the show what it'll look like, but think for oakland i'll use the flower-shaped stones... after all, oakland is right next to san francisco, and "if you're going to san francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair" (or face )

OMG the big girl one, damn, how drunk was i?! too bad that they're closing at 11 pm... maybe we can rent the bar for a private party after 11 pm? but i'd also be up for a meeting there on saturday night - if it closes at 11 pm, it won't be a problem with the queuing. and about the queuing, i also really hate getting up early for it, and i hate the cold. i love queuing with MFCers, tbh if i could sleep in and it was nice+warm weather, i might even prefer it to a seated gig where everyone will turn up only when the doors open. but having to arrive early in the morning and standing all day in the freezing cold to get a front row spot is just mad, i agree with that. the problem with all your plans is, that it's not just MFCers who are going. there are other forums, and they will do their own thing. if it was just MFC, i'd definitely be up for a "don't arrive before a certain time"-agreement. but you won't get the others to do it, and that's why i don't think it would work. but i certainly won't arrive there at 6 am or even spend the night there - if that was necessary to get a front row spot, that wouldn't be worth it for me!

fantastic that you're coming too! here, just for you: well my flights were 0 euro... just with all the taxes, handling fees etc. i paid 70 altogether in the end. :rolls_eyes: would've been 30 euro more with luggage... still need to sort out how to pack all the stuff i need for one week in the hand luggage. sounds good, might choose that too!
